NO STARS!!!NEVER AGAIN! You only have to full me once!!!Replaced my alternator and it turns out the fuse box cover was not replaced so my electrical was exposed and damaged. The mechanic did not replace properly. Now I have electrical issues that I’ve never had before, car not starting, check engine light is on, and these issues were not present prior to this mechanic. Now I have to take to dealership to clean up the overworked mechanic’s mess.The time it took to finish kept getting changed and pushed back. NEVER AGAIN!! They good for breaks and that’s about it. Never trust a fast talker who makes it seems like everything is A ok…

I paid for a FULL DIAGNOSTIC TEST and it was not done! The lady I spoke with who claims she is the owner was very rude! She was also the same person I spoke with before having my car towed there that stated they do full diagnostic tests!! Once I called with questions she began stating they didn’t check certain things because they don’t do that work.. that should’ve been discussed before accepting to diagnose my car! I called and requested to speak with corporate she states she owns the shop and no one is above her. Don’t go here if you want honest & trustworthy service! I didn’t even want to give one star but had to in order to post this review

Tony is very encouraging, professional, and positive. I have had my car for well over a decade and kept it in immaculate condition and now, haven't had it for over a month. Always getting some excuse as to why without positive results. I am having a severe lack of confidence in this company since they have had our housemate's car for just about as long.

Tony at Dayton Auto Repair is a great guy. He will help you with getting your car fixed at a good price. He is very honest and go out of his way to help and not rip you off. He has worked on my truck several times and I have never had a issue with it not being fixed right. Highly recommend, Great mechanics

In early June my wife’s vehicle was having issues with the rear differential it was dropped off at Dayton auto repair and the cost was around 1300 to fix and I had to pay half down before repairs could start so I paid so in August the owner stated that he could not repair my wife’s vehicle stating that the front differential was damaged also. I was refunded all but 100 dollars but the vehicle is trashed it sounds 10 times as worse and now my wife has not transportation to get around. I asked the owner to take care of the loud lawn mower sound and he refused so from now on I will seek a better qualified mechanic instead of the shade tree ones they have consumer beware !!!!!!!!!!

This is a true honest place ….. I am always sure that considering my financial state I will always get an honest answer from the mechanic on duty, I have had my share of bad mechanics that just want to take advantage of me when it comes to fixing my car but I am glad I found this place as soon as I pulled in they were very upfront honest and forward which what I like. They analyze my car gave me my pros and cons and let me decide. Thank you. I didn’t feel pressured to do other services that weren’t necessary which what I like no extra charges!

Five months ago they replaced my radiator which was $400, shortly after I started having trouble with air in my car again and apparently the issue with the radiator worsened because my car started having more issues so I took it back. He charged me $600 for another radiator a thermostat and two hoses that he said he didn’t charge me for. I asked do they keep record of previous work performed and he says yes so as he check records he says I only had a radiator flush… for $400? He went on to mention that the service was in march but my first time coming here was 6-26 when I got the radiator. I showed my receipt and he gave me $200 back for the warranty which means I still ended up paying $400 for a thermostat and again two hoses that he said he didn’t charge for which was the same price as the previous radiator. Once I got it back there was a scraping noise when I drove so I brought it back and he says it’s the lower control arm and my outer tire rods which was $200 so I got the tire rods fixed. I had someone else look at the car to fix the scraping noise and immediately he noticed they left both fenders hanging by my tires the guy clipped them up and the noise disappeared. At the end of the day I still paid out the $600 he initially wanted and that wasn’t a coincidence. I’m a single mother who he seen as a lick. They will never get my money again.
