The guys in the shoe dept was super helpful and nice. They went out of the way to help us find the cleats we needed. This trip was probably the best experience we had. Also the guy working in the baseball dept was pretty helpful too!

Terrible customer service. 3 men at the front end registers, 2 of them were managers. Line backed up but no additional cashiers were called and one of the managers stood there for quite some time before beging to check anyone out. I waited 15 minutes to check out to small items. Seems like the manager to cashier ratio should be different. Too many managers, not enough cashiers.

Not happy that we cannot pick up a bike for our child that is already paid for because someone wasn’t there to certify it after 5 pm and the manager on duty couldn’t do it. After 5pm is the only time some parents have to grab gifts. Super inconvenient being the week of Christmas. We likely won’t be online ordering from Dick’s again.

Visited recently to exchange some rain coats we received as gifts for a larger size. They didn’t have them in store so I was going to order them online and requested store credit specifically since they were a gift and I didn’t want the price to be refunded to the person who gave them to us so we wouldn’t have to bother them or make a big deal about the size being wrong. When we went to the register the team member RJ said since they were paid for with PayPal we could swipe any credit card and have it be returned to that card because he can’t refund to PayPal. He pressed a button and before we could swipe a card for the return amount to be loaded onto the transaction ended up being refunded back to PayPal. So we were SOL and the refund went back to the gift giver. They seriously need to train their employees better here. When I complained he was basically like “well there’s nothing I can do now”. Lots of other team members and managers were standing around and watched this whole transaction take place and never stepped in. One person did tell him “you probably should’ve done that as store credit” WHICH IS WHAT WE WANTED TO BEGIN WITH! It’s been an unnecessarily huge pain now just to get the right size for these freaking jackets. Work on training your staff better please.

The Dicks Sporting Goods store near Airport Rd.was a great disappointment as the mens lavatory was filthy of neglect and it had no running water. The female attendant was hostile and insulting about assisting this customer. It will be a long time before I consider doing business with this establishment.
