Our Chevy Duramax diesel was having mechanical issues while visiting the Santa Maria area and we were so fortunate to find Diesel Injection Systems. Larry and his team were welcoming, empathetic, and accommodating given our situation (from out of town and pulling a fifth wheel trailer). Not only did they fix our issue (damaged intercooler booster hose), but Larry took the time to follow up with a phone call the next day to ensure we had a safe trip home. I needed the dreaded injector replacement job on my Duramax Lb7. A laborious and tedious job that must be done correctly. After much stressing and searching, and hearing a bunch of nonsense from several other shops, I got lucky and found these guys. From the initial phone conversation to completion of the job, all I ever got was straight talk, straight dealing, expertise and professionalism. And all at a very fair price. A little over two years ago I took the truck to have a water line repaired, which they did but they damaged the intake manifold and that's how they put it so it started to heat up, damaging other parts. Luckily I stopped using it because I took it to the dealer, it was another mistake, they broke it down from other parts So I had to learn to be a diesel mechanic, I waited a year to repair the truck waiting for the parts because some were out of order, If someone reads my little comment and takes their truck for repair to this shop, never receive the truck if they have a code on their dashboard.😁
