The Dollar General has very good prices and 90% of the stores I have visited are nicely stocked and clean. The one on 52nd st. and 35th ave in Kenosha, WI. Is absolutely disgusting. There's merchandise everywhere all of the floors, laundry soap spilt down the front of tbe bottles and all over the shelves, store ladders and step stools left in the aisles for customers to have to drag out of the way in order to get through. The male cashier can't seem to concentrate on his customers as he is talking across them to his girlfriend or friend who is visiting! He has absolutely no manners. And there is a horrible odor when you walk in. They need a new store manager and better cashiers.

It's just dollar general, they have a lot of stuff for relatively cheap prices. It's somewhat dirty in there. The employees are pretty helpful for the most part, they are all nice and respectful.

Open 8 am to 10 pm. Went at 2 : 30 doors locked lights on. I have gone on my way home[ 3:30] doors have been locked. Lately alot of things have been out of stock.

Low staffed and has problems keeping the register staffed but very nice people. Has everything you need at a great price and even features dollar items. Its not run down because of the fact they dont only have dollar items. $1 item exclusive stores tend to be very run down and strange

HORRIBLE place. Not only was it dirty, there was stuff lying around all over the place. SERIOUS fire hazards. Also, you could smell the food rotting because they didn't have proper air ventilation in the place. If you were trying to buy something? Good luck. Someone was at the counter yelling for assistance, there was no one to be found. I would not return to this location if you paid me.

Horrible location! They are always closed early so when you pull up to go shopping, unexpectedly, there is periodically a sign on the door that says they closed before the regular time and it’s always around 5, which is 4 hrs early! Secondly, they NEVER answer their phone, like they totally REFUSE to answer no no matter what time it is nor how busy they are! We just came from there and my son was only handed 2 bags which was a bag short of the purchase! It was already close to closing time so by the time we made it back home it was 8:58, 2 mins to close! With no way to make it back in time, I called to let them know that and we’ll pick it up tomorrow but NO ANSWER AS USUAL!! Ik they see it but I was trying to be proactive! I also called the location on Washington to see if they could get in touch with me and it’s sad that not only did they confirm my opinion of them never answering the phone, they also spoke badly about the store smh

Customer service was good. Was greeted at the door and talked to while checking out. We could not find a lot of things we were looking for. Maybe it was a delivery day. Also, the aisles were filled with things that had been dropped on the floor and I tripped a few times.

Can’t stand when places close early - before their closing time. Arrived at 8:50 and door was already locked. The last few days they have a line outside preventing more than 5 persons inside at a time. Finally missed the line but employees have difficulty telling time apparently.
