Always disorganized and the store is always dirty. Half the time you can't even move a cart around the store because the isles are full of the truck orders almost all week until the next truck. Nothing's is where it's suppose to be.

Disorganized, can't keep staff, dirty. I find myself there frequently as it is within walking distance of my home, but have not been satisfied, and have had several staff members treat me very rudely.

Disorganized, store always cluttered and dirty. Employees rude, unfriendly. It's either the clientele, employees, or the neighborhood area why this Dollar General is this way. This Dollar General needs to clean house and take note of the other Dollar General Stores in town. Simple as that!

This place took advantage of my special needs brother in law refused to refund his money without a receipt when they didnt even give him one and i truely believe they ripped him off. i will not shop at such a store the employees and way they treated me was horrible really my grade is no stars currently but its due to the employees

I love coming to Dollar general I understand it's going to be a crowded place especially on holidays, but my only issue was that there were three workers in the store and only one register open and the line was half a mile long.

This is the worst DG I have ever been in. As a former DG employee I know for a fact that the condition of this store and the attitude of the staff is completely unacceptable. Upper management should spend some time either training the current staff or replacing them.

I don't like when I shop there for food they usually carry & shelves are empty, they are out of stock. It also is difficult to get through aisles when stockers & pallets of items clog them up Traffic Jam!

The employees ignored me when I asked for the bathroom key and when I tried to get a price check. Their product choices are very poor as well - 20 different brands/sizes of fabric softener and 1 brand of overpriced detergent to choose from, that's freaking ridiculous.

West 5th store is Dirty, not stocked and the staff is very unprofessional!!!!!!!!! Never going to find the store stocked or clean. Probably won't be able to get what you need. University Ave store is the cleanest dollar general in this area! Hands down! Stocked and good customer service!

Casher was super nice but overworked, all other employees stood around gossiping, loudly. had to move shelving units and merch. Off the floor for women in a wheelchair. Not one employee stopped to help her. You need more employees like your cashier and fire the rest.

Things are never in stock, gift cards are places weird, it is always dirty and disgusting. Only good for a quick trip, if your item is even in the right spot.

Is this store going out of business? Many empty shelves and didn't look like anything was getting restocked. I just needed a quick birthday card so stopped in but won't be back. :-( Too bad as it used to be a nice store a couple years ago.

They need more cashiers available on days they receive their supplies. 1 cashier, manager working with delivery, 1 employee training and a long clear down the aisle makes people upset. The trainer or manage should have been helping at the register to get the line down. Otherwise Dollar General is the dollar store I like the best. Other kinds aren't as clean or have the variety of items.

Surprisingly clean under New Management oh my God the place looks so put back together. You can actually look a the clothes and get down the isle. I stopped coming here for a while because it was a pig pen, but it's different now. Nice job to the new manager. 👍

A lot of empty shelves and overall cleanliness is 2-star at best. Stocking carts always seem to be in the way. Help is fairly friendly if you can find them. Okay store for everyday purchases, but the north Cedar Falls location is much better!

The shelves are always bare and the store just has a run down feel to it. Then the other night I wasn't paying attention to the time and didn't realize it was close to closing as I thought they closed at 10. A lady was standing at the door with her arms crossed saying they were closing in 2 minutes ...in my head I was thinking well I just want a bag of chips so that's all I need is 2 minutes. The look on her face said she didn't want to help me so we left. Won't be going back.
