Luckily for us, we live in walking distance to them! We have recently had a bunch of unfortunate car trouble due to pesky mice thinking the wires were their dinner. And not once but twice. They were great, accommodating, and honest. They also are great with their communication. Personally I think there are some really good mechanics in West Seneca, but this place makes the top of the list for us. We have also taken our cars in for standard NYS inspections, no complaints there. And for filling tires when we have a flat which happens allllll the time to us. Anyway.. check them out next time you need help with a vehicle, there's a reason they are always busy!! Update: they're still good. We continue to bring our reliable old Subaru there, and they always do good, honest work. My dad is a retired mechanic and I always run these things by him. I have him tell me what he would charge and it's always so close. Grateful for this shop

I got a nail in my tire on the way to work and pulled into this shop. They were so kind to me and my 2 little crazy boys they let play around and watch cartoons. They helped right away and were very nice ☺️

One of the best garages I've ever dealt with. I know enough about car repairs to know they are straight shooters who do quality work and don't overcharge. Always polite and respectful on the phone and in person.....which is unusual for your average grease monkey. Happy customer for about 5 years now. I highly recommend this business!

Not sure what fit you’re referring to… I walked out in silence after receiving a quote I was unhappy with. I also think 160 dollars to simply look at my car and another 600 to fix a sensor that costs $50 dollars (which you told me was $250) is a little absurd, hence the one star review. No hard feelings, I’ve already got a quote for 1/3rd the price you gave me.

Appreciate the honesty! I was told by another mechanic after an inspection that I needed new front brakes within a month or two. When I took my car to Don & Jims to do the work the next week, they called me and advised that I didn't need to replace yet -- still 30%! I picked up the car and will certainly go back when I really need the work done!

I've used Don and Jim's for a few years. spent a few grand in their shop. In March I had 4 new tires put on. they tightened the lugs so tight that I couldnt get them off by hand, even using a breaker bar, my dad couldn't get them off with a impact tool, and now I'm at a steeve Shannon's where a man has been going at the back tire with an air gun for 10 solid minutes. told me the lugs are all warped from over tightening with an air gun. I'm very upset by this. a garage should be able to mount tires properly. this is unacceptable. update: they were able to remove most of the lugs except the one they are now cutting off with a torch.

This was my first time here and I will definitely be back! I called on a Wednesday for price on just general maintenance items for my car (winter tires put on that I had, oil change, and inspection) and the man who I spoke to was extremely nice and their prices were very reasonable. I dropped my car off 2 days later. Mike had contacted me during the day to let me know about my car. He explained I had a small oil gasket leak so they replaced that (they do not do work unless they speak to you first but since this is as a small gasket for my oil that I wasn’t charged for, it’s not a big deal) he also explained one of my fog lights wasn’t working and it wasn’t the bulb, it was something else. He told me he’d have to order it and I can call and come back in whenever to get it replaced. He also took my payment over the phone since I wouldn’t be picking up my car until after business hours. These days it’s hard to find honest, good, and friendly mechanics. I definitely feel great about Don & Jim’s and will be recommending them to my friends and family!!

Had my 92' Corvette there a few weeks ago for a no start problem. Turned out to be a gas flow problem starting in the fuel tank . Don ( the owner ) booked my appointment in a very quick time frame and gave me the number for a flatbed service which was outstanding and reasonably priced rate . Over the few days that they had the vehicle , they communicated every step of the way from analyzing the issue to completion of the repairs . Several mechanics were involved and lent some great advice as far as some things which I wasn't familiar with , to help me avoid future issues . The final price for the repair was considerably lower than I expected . I was leaving there with my car within a couple of days . My vehicle has been running great ever since . Thanks to Don and his entire friendly crew for a wonderful experience . They will have my future business without a doubt !!!

Brought my truck in for what I thought was a costly engine failure. The next day, they diagnosed the actual issue, which was much less severe than I had initially thought. Not only this, but they did a lot of additional work which would have been needed anyways for a much lower price than I was expecting. 24 hours later, they advised my car will be ready to pickup later today when parts come in. 100% recommend this shop to anyone who wants no bullshit solutions to their car troubles.
