I've ALWAYS had exceptional service at Duffy's but this last visit was OVER THE TOP! Miguel is such a pleasure to deal with, always direct and honest. The most recent service i needed for my vehicle was done QUICKER AND CHEAPER than what was originally quoted! I live in the area and didn't have a way to go pick my car up and Miguel even came and picked me up. That's customer service! Thank you guys again for everything!

These people are amazing; A cut above the rest. Yes, all shops are expensive. But, you get your moneys worth here. The mechanics are friendly and very knowledgeable at their craft. I was able to get my auto in the same day! And, they allowed me to use a shop loner car. If you need auto repair, this is the only place you need to go. Take my word for it.

Duffy’s was so helpful when I had a tire shred while driving down the highway. They took my car while having only talked to me on the phone and kept it for me while I was gone on a work trip. Miguel was amazing and stayed in communication with me and reassured me. The total cost was super affordable as well. Seriously considering driving the hour and a half to get my car serviced here in the future.

I took my Pathfinder in because it wouldn’t start. They thought the battery may be had a bad cell and they found a leak near the oil filter also wanted an oil change. I told them that I would take the battery back to Costco to have it replaced because I had just bought it. I talked with the repair man that took the battery out and he said The battery was a refurbished one and I was surprised it didn’t say it on it and when I went back up to Costco, I asked if they were selling refurbished batteries, the salesman said that was the first he had ever heard and he didn’t think that was true. I got home With my vehicle, I saw that they charge me $138 for taking the battery out and putting it back in. I called up and told them I would’ve done it myself. And I thought considering the bill that they would’ve done it for free the bill was over $700. They said they had to make money, then they detected the biller wrote the invoice wrong, they were gonna charge me only $40. We were talking and the guy in the office said we usually charge $20-$30 to take the battery out so I said you’re gonna charge me 20 then right and he finally agreed. They were gonna charge $150 for the diagnostics which they told me things Already wrong with the vehicle that I wasn’t gonna fix them anyway so they took half off of that. I don’t know if I’d go back to Duffy’s if I hadn’t questioned the charge for the battery And for the diagnostic They would’ve charged me almost $200 more than what the bill ended up being. And then the battery refurbished thing I don’t know who was telling the truth.

Over priced shop !! They lost all their really good certified mechanics !! They don’t charge by the book because their mechanics are lacking the experience and certifications. Therefore, they charge hourly and it takes them twice as long to do a job. I was told if my jeep need adjustment that they would take care of me. That was a lie. Had to bring my jeep to another shop because they were incapable of doing the job correctly. Before this, I brought them another truck and they were not able to figure out why it was misfiring. And charged me $300 for nothing. When I finally got some time the next week to look at it, come to find out they had the wrong rotor underneath the cap. Only took me about 15 minutes to figure this out. And their mechanics had the truck all day.

We have lived in Saint Paul Park for 6 years and have used Duffy's service on multiple vehicles. They are always honest about needed repairs and give good advise for repairs that may need to be done in the future. They are never pushy about services. They always fixed my vehicles quickly, professionally, and with high quality. The most recent repair was a couple of weeks ago when a squirrel ate several of my spark plug wires. They got my car fixed days before the initial estimate. Excellent work and AAA discount on labor was an added bonus. Thanks Duffy's for trusted auto repair. Highly recommend. Thank you!
