This place has been a pleasant surprise. We found it by accident in our search for information on how to fix our car at the best possible price and in an easy and practical way. With great patience they attended to us, answered all our questions, clarified all our doubts and took care of all the procedures and paperwork necessary to work with our insurance. And most importantly, they gave us peace of mind that everything was going to be fine and they would take care of any problems that might arise. Really appreciated. So far it's definitely a 5 star experience. I'll keep posting. They finished my car in record time (4 days) and the communications have been constant and very attentive. The quality of the job was very satisfying, even when a little detail araised they solved in a blink. All the staff put a lot of effort in a quality job and a satisfactory experience for us. I brought my vehicle into East Coast Collision for repair after a typical NJ fender bender, and let me tell you, after a couple days of dealing with the insurance, my vehicle was repaired amazingly well and also, so well taken care of!! Thank you to Giovanni R. and the East Coast Collision Team for taking such great care of my vehicle. It does not look like it was even scratched from behind! Everything was amazing! I couldn't be more pleased with the shop and the experience. Beyond the extremely detailed and professional work done on my car (see the before and after photos), the shop staff is so pleasant, kind, and accommodating. They worked with the insurance company directly and took care of everything. In addition, I asked them to work on other body issues with my car (regardless of my insurance claim) and they also did a fantastic job with a fair price tag. I hope I won't need any more car repairs in the future, but if I do, I'm just happy I can come back again to a place I can trust.

I was a cash customer and they messed up my car. They made it seem like they were doing me a favor with the lady saying they didn't normally except cash customers. They disabled the alert on my driver side door that would tell me that it wasn't closed. Rain would literally come through my driver side door and the window stopped working. It was a waste of money because I had to go to a different body shop to fix their mistakes.

I went to East Coast Collision in Jersey City looking to pay cash for service and had a very uncomfortable experience. While I was there, a woman came out and told me they didn’t want to do the work. The way it was said and the comments made made me feel judged based on my appearance and race, and like they assumed I couldn’t afford the service. As a paying customer ready to do business, I expected to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. Businesses should treat everyone fairly and not make assumptions about who can or cannot pay. I’m sharing my experience so others are aware and so the company can hopefully work on how they speak to and treat customers in the future.

Will never go back. This was a couple of years ago and is now just getting into writing this review. My car was involved in a hit and run. Mind you my car has never been in an accident before., damaged driver side fender and door because it was side swiped. When I brought it to their shop, they reported to my insurance that only the fender was damaged from the accident and the door was not part of it. I tried to tell the inspector from their shop that the door and fender was hit and even showed them the same paint transfer from the other car. The declined and insisted that it was not part of the accident. Will never go back!!! Ended up paying for the door repair myself.

Friendly, easy to deal with, and appears to be a family-run business. Unfortunately, the quality of the initial repair was disappointing. Panels were misaligned, paint damage from incorrect hardware being used, which required a follow-up visit after an accident where I was not at fault. I ended up covering rental car costs due to errors from the original repair, and some agreed-upon issues were still not corrected at the follow-up. I would have preferred the work to be done right the first time. Better quality control is needed.

After someone decided a red light was optional because they didn't see any cars coming Progressive suggested East Coast Collision for repairs and I'm glad they did! Everything was seamless, from reporting the claim, to the car rental right on the premises. Everyone was helpful and polite. They could do alittle better in the communication category, providing updates specifically; but all in all my car looked brand new when they were done and they even fixed something I wasn't expecting them to. The damage wasn’t major, but it was enough to require a body shop. I was extremely upset and, to be honest, very hesitant about trusting any repair shop. I had a few sleepless nights worrying that my car would never be the same again. Since I live in Jersey City, we drove the car (it was still drivable) to East Coast Collision, and from the moment we arrived, my anxiety started to ease. The first gentleman who assessed the vehicle—later I learned his name is Chris—was professional, calm, and thorough. The shop itself immediately impressed me: clean, well-lit, organized, and extremely professional. I’m 56 years old and have been around long enough to know when a business is legitimate. This place is the real deal. While sitting in the passenger seat, another gentleman came down the ramp, introduced himself, shook my hand, and personally moved my car. I don’t know his name, but he carried himself like an owner or senior leader—polite, confident, and clearly someone who takes pride in the business. The whole interaction felt respectful and reassuring. When my car was pulled inside the shop, I saw the interior—and honestly, I was blown away. The place was lit up like a stadium. You could see every detail. There were several high-end vehicles being repaired, and everything looked precise and professional. This was not one of those shady, insurance-shortcut shops. This was top-tier, legit work. They sat me down, explained the entire process, and even coordinated an Enterprise rental seamlessly. At that point, I felt confident leaving my “baby” in their care.
