My jeep Gladiator would not crank and was stranded in the 5th floor of a parking garage where towing was not an option. Called the dealership and two towing companies with no results. Ed’s came and in 30 minutes, diagnosed a bad fuel pump AND got the jeep running long enough to move it to a towable area. I was shocked at how cheap (my $200. Tip was more than their bill. Thank you Ed’s.

Remote Pre Purchase Inspection Review I was shopping for a specific vehicle and found one out of state. I needed an inspection done quickly and Ed's was happy to help on short notice. Cost was in line with inspecations I had completed in other regions. Communication was great to setup the inspection. I explained that this was going to be a sight unseen purchase so I would need a thorough assessment of the condition mechanically and visually. Pros: Provided a report of the mechanical codes. Noted some potential maintenance issues and reviewed the carfax report to reference service history. The car is running great. Cons: I negotiated the price assuming issues had been noted but when I arrived to pickup the car, there were a handful of issues I wish I'd have known before signing. The interior condition was not documented and the leather was worn and cracked on the driver bolster. The roof rack finish was peeling, there was surface rust on the wiper arms, and a decent size scruff on the passenger door. The wheel lock was also missing. Nothing catastrophic but certainly things that had been checked and identified by other inspectors for the same price. In total, I recieved 7 pictures. If you are in the area and need an inspection, this may be a good option. I have no complaints about the mechanical side of the inspection. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them for remote buyers.
