Only reason I'm giving this place one star is cuz it won't let me give them zero worst place I've ever been to in my life for any type of mechanic service I took my F-150 in there I have the torque converter replaced and transmission rebuilt and I've had it in there four times in the past 3 months and I still have not gotten a corrected will not be going back ever if you have transmission problems please take your vehicle anywhere else.

My truck had a transmission fixed in February 2015 ok that lasted approximately 2 weeks went out again T hey came and got truck fixed it. Lasted until August 2015 went out again going to a bass tournament on Ouachita river. I called Mr Edwards. Bless his soul. Good man RIP anyway he said I'll fix it myself well they can kept my truck 8 weeks. 8. I called Mr Edwards every week finally got it back 2nd week if October 2015. Mr Edwards told me. 1 year warranty from T his date. I said ok my wife witnessed this. Took truck made it to July 8. Went out again. No help and They won't warranty it. I kno Mr Edwards is gone but he said he would give me a warranty. But it's my word against Theirs. This would be 4 th time oh well. No more of my business and I will not recommend them to anyone.

I'm changing my review from Saturday. Sunday morning I go to move car noticed cvt fluid on ground your mechanic didn't tighten one of the bolts enough. I expect to have service done right first time no excuses. I hope I have enough fluid to get it done right. I shouldn't have fluid on ground from a change. I bet this is a gimic to get me to come back. You will be billed for my cvt fluid that I now have to get more of in addition to service because y'all failed to tighten the bolt properly.

Please do not take your vehicle here. They are very dishonest and have no integrity. I took my car in to get the flywheel and torque converter checked. They called back and said the flywheel was fine. I asked about the torque converter and it wasn't checked but the guy had already started tearing my transmission apart to find a problem. He claimed he found something inside the transmission but I'm pretty positive the torque converter was the problem. The end result is $2000 for a rebuilt transmission that was not needed. You shouldn't cheat hardworking Christian people out of their hard earned money.

Was told to drop it off a 7:30, and it would be done by 11:30. At 2:45, the vehicle still hadn’t been looked at. They didn’t do the service I took it there for. Was even told later they have never looked at my type of vehicle even though I told them the type the day before. I took off work for this, and it was a complete waste of time.

I was totally disappointed in this business. I was given a bid on a job. Next time called it was 300 plus more than quoted. Ask to speak to mr.edwards cause he was the one to give quote. He finally agreed to original price. They fix transmission, then call say something else is wrong and all of a sudden the part equals down to the dollar the same price he originally said they quoted even though the original price was wrote on paper. That being said I asked the secretary where part was bought in case I needed the warranty on it. She explained that warranty was covered through them but they had bought from O'Reilly. I then called all around to each and the part was from 75$ to 150. I was charged 364.00 back to original amount. I felt like I was given a dishonest amount because he forgot to tell his secretary who was out that day. The amount he agreed on originally. The back end of my van was covered in transmission fluid. This was my experience. Im not saying dont use this shop just that after my warranty runs out in two years im not.

I brought my 99 Z71 Chevy in a few days ago to have Transmission rebuilt and rear main seal replaced and I have to say I couldn't be more pleased with the work done. I'm very happy with the work done and reasonably price on parts and labor. Also got it done very quick. Great job guys! I will highly recommend Edward's Transmission to anyone! God Bless!

I picked up my car today at around 1. It had the transmission completely rebuilt. I drove to Target (10 min away) and once I came out of the store, the check engine light was on. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving so I can’t bring it in tomorrow but I’m extremely disappointed. Paid $2500 flat for the rebuild. We were going to be charged $2800 but when we went to bring it to a different transmission shop, the owner (I’m assuming) dropped it to $2500. We live within walking distance so we felt it should be okay. I’m hoping this is something minor. I’ll comment on this post after I bring the car back. I saw the reviews after my fiancé told him to fix it. I wish I could have seen it sooner. But like I said, I’m hoping for the best.

Great work. I broke down traveling from Dallas to Jacksonville during Memorial Day Weekend and was suggested that I contact them from a gentleman that said he repaired his 2008 Avalanche. I had to wait til Tuesday for someone to look at it because of the holiday. So with faith left my truck in Monroe and came back the next week to pick it up eventhough they offered to have it done the same day. It was perfect work and truck transmission has been working great.
