I went here because I was struggling getting my truck in time. He got it further than I did myself, but it wasn't all the way right. I also acquired a knocking around that he said he heard and that he didn't want to work on my truck because it's "blame him for breaking my truck." The sound was NOT their when i dropped it off 2 days prior, and he said he thought it was a rod knocking. It WASN'T. It was low on oil and once I added it, the knocking stopped 🤔🙄😒 It's a shame that mechanics and predominantly male professional take advantage of women because they ASSUME we file know what we're talking about, or have the capability of working on vehicles ourselves. It's disappointing really. He charged me $130 For nothing really, it was closer to starting and running, but still NOT RUNNING because it wasn't IN TIME!! Specifically what I dropped it off to have done... Smh. Oh well. Lesson learned and hopefully this helps someone 🤞😁

Went to this guy and was pleasantly surprised when he gave me the quote for changing my ac compressor and vacuum out and flush everything for 315 $ just for labor and he also started on it as soon as I picked up all the parts. Very clean work area and professional employee. I definitely thought I was about to get a quote that was ridiculously high but didn't. Overall I'm 100% happy with the service I was provided and would recommend this shop for future work !

Highly recommend this shop after my previous experience with a mechanic in San Leon I was left with the feeling of not trusting another mechanic. After a buddy recommended me to El Jefe Auto with his experience I was in need of work done. He diagnosed my issue and showed me what needed to be done, he gave me options on price and both options were fair price. I actually brought my vehicle in a month later which he still honored the price, told me it would be done the next day after dropping it off. Called me the next day letting me know the car was finish and to my relief no other issues found. Picked it up and got a paper invoice with warranty which means a lot to me cause my last horrible experience with the mechanic I used in San Leon(All Out Automotive & Performance) wouldn’t even give me a invoice and damage my car. El Jefe Auto Repair is my go to guy for cars now. Thank you 🙏
