Absolutely avoid at all costs. This place is a complete scam. They took my car in, charged me $1600 for repairs that didn’t even fix the initial issue that they were trying to fix. I took it another place for a second opinion and they confirmed that Emerson did a half job- replacing the air pump without any of the tubing associated with it. Also, their customer service is absolutely terrible. I was given an initial timeline for the repairs and they clearly didn’t meet the timeline yet acted annoyed every time I called to check on my car. When I came to pick up my car after paying $1600 for the repairs, I asked for someone to come show me what was fixed and they rolled their eyes at my ask. I highly suggest that you go somewhere else.

Brought my car for state inspection. The technician chiseled the windshield UV protective film all around the expiring sticker and returned the car without saying anything. When I noticed the damage, I called the mechanic to enquire. They just said they need to use a scrapper to remove the sticker which is untrue since I’ve had multiple inspections on the car without issues. They never bothered to check with me as I was close by before doing this poor job. No attention to detail or consideration to the customer found here

So, thanks to Peter, our tire pressure has been taken care of. Being elders, it is always good to know that there are companies with employees that will step up and help out. Went to fill tires at a local gas station with no success (the employee was not much help). We drove down to Emerson explaining the issue, and Peter did not hesitate to assist us and fill the tires. This is why locally owned and operated businesses are so vital to a community and elders. Thanks to Peter, all is well with our vehicle.

Absolutely obsessed with this place. I’ve been getting my car inspected here for three years now. They are so fast and so kind. This year I had a brand new car and the dealer had screwed up the registration with the RMV which I didn’t realize until I got there in the morning, and they realized it was registered with the wrong VIN. The team here was so nice because I was frazzled. I talked to my insurance and my dealership and got it straightened out and came back in the afternoon and they did my inspection in all of five minutes so that I could catch my international flight later that day. A+++++++

I took my car to get inspected- as soon as the mechanic walked out he began shaking his head "no." He said that the car wouldn't pass because of rust on the side, but gave no other information. He barely glanced at the car and didn't explain anything beyond it being "body work," and he walked away. Took my car to another inspection station the next day and it passed with no problems, and they didn't even mention the rust. Showed me that the Emerson mechanic wasn't in the mood to work that day.

I went there the other day with 3 tires that had low tire pressure but one in specific that kept going low every day I would drive. I mentioned I felt the valve was low and may need to be adjusted or replaced. They took me in right away, filled the back tires and replaced the valve for my front tire. They were kind, quick and efficient. As a young women who just moved to south Boston this is where I will be going to from now on.
