This is my first option and probably only option for a repair shop, they always get me in and out fast, shows me what's going on, very affordable, and does the job right.

Fast service, polite staff, fair prices, repair well done. Car back on the road and I will return again when the car inevitably fails the next time. Keep up the good work

Fast, effective, and affordable repairs! I go here anytime I have a car problem, and they're always very helpful. They even gave me a ride home so that I didn't have to sit at she shop while I got my brakes fixed.

Spent 2200$ on a repair after my car was in an accident left the shop after they "fixed" it, and instantly could tell how poor of a job they did. The alignment was way off and has been making a grinding noise. Two weeks later the front brakes are now shot and I was almost in another accident because I lost all pressure to my breaks. I gave them the work because they did a timely job on replacing my boss's muffler so thought they would do an equally decent job on my car.

I have never been disappointed! Stand behind their work. High integrity, honorable, courteous, friendly staff. If they can't do a service, you're given other business options to try. I moved to the West side of Bay City and still prefer to go to their business on the East side. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Needed my air conditioning fixed and they got it done within the hour. Decent price for labor and part needed. Rhonda was very friendly as well. Will return again!

Nice staff and quality work, but I feel like prices are inflated beyond what is necessary. For front brakes in a Dakota, it was $882. I guess it is supply and demand... There's no one willing to work anymore, so those who do can charge whatever they want. Hopefully this world goes back to normal someday.

I was very disappointed. I spoke to a very nice tech and the clerk up front over the phone, explained what was wrong. Brought it in at 8a.m. and repeated the story. No call. I finally call them at three only to be told by the tech how nice my vehicle started. That was not my concern. I told him the issue. No call and they close. Next day, I finally call at noon, Michael tells me the condition is normal but maybe my key fob is broken. I informed him I have had this car over three years, this is NOT normal. He also informed me, "well, we don't do 20 point inspections for free." Just for kicks I decided to Google my cars concern and find out it is actually a 'thing' with my type of car and I read several fixes. Suddenly I get a call from the tech who tells me, "Great news, you're not crazy" I replied I never thought I was. He finally 'figured' out what was wrong and started listing parts. After telling him that I have found it's an electrical concern. He coldly says, "You are free to come pick up your car." And them he hung up on me! I never pretended to know how to repair a vehicle. But their bobbling of the information, delay in diagnosis, failure to communicate what was going on with my car and this technicians condescending attitude, will keep me from ever going back. I do not recommend them, at all.

Went to take my car here to get my muffler fixed, they looked over my car and told me my converter was “cut out” and that they’d have to put in a whole new system if I wanted my car to be quiet. Mind you thats over 900 dollars in repairs itself. They also told me it would cost 400 dollars to repair my wipers because my motor was dead and something with the transmission was wrong. So almost 1500 in “repairs”. She told me I could think about it and give them a call if I wanted them to “fix” it. Ended up getting a second opinion from Tuffy Tire on Euclid, they showed me my catalytic converter was in fact NOT cut out or gone at all. They fixed my muffler for 100 flat. Come to also find out my Wipers were not working due to a fuse. VERY EASY FIX, cost me almost nothing to get my wipers working. These are not honest people, and I would not go here if I was you. Im very happy I got a second opinion.

I have a bad relay in my impala. Took it here to get it looked at. Woman at the counter refused to let anyone look at it, “they don’t have time for that”. Absolutely barbaric experience.

I used Essexville Auto Repair three times now and each time I was surprised at their very reasonable prices and how quickly they were able to get me in and out of the shop. As a woman you always worry about car repair companies taking advantage of you, not Essexville Auto Repair. The owner. Rhonda, is humble and truly cares about servicing the customer. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of repair service.

2 Years ago I had them install my lower ball joint, The mech did not tighten the ball joint properly which caused a cascading failure across my front end. I brought it in for them to look at I was told the ball joint was shot and they would not fix the problem even if I had to pay for it, I was informed my frame was to far rusted for them to repair the problem. That is fine I understand liability issues. that being said when I came back a few days later after my repair from a ASC master mechanic and told the lady behind the counter what had happened she got mean! nasty attitude like I was lying to her!!! well you lost me as a customer for your lack of understanding and shitty attitude to the cold hard cash paying customer. I hope you take time to reflect about the people who come to your shop and pay for your services. The paying customer is always right or only when it does not make you look bad. Most of the time you get good service but when it goes bad you are wrong and they are right!

My regular auto repair guy was booked so I was shopping for somewhere new that was reliable and reasonable. A friend suggested Essexville Auto Repair, right on M-25 just west of Scheuermann. I called and Rhonda, the owner said she could get me in right away. I dropped off my car and in record time she was calling back to say it was done and pick it up. This was a complete rear brake pads, rotors and calipers job. I was impressed. Rhonda mentioned that the mechanic said I would be needing struts in the future because they were leaking and other issues. I took it back the next day and the same thing, it was done! Definitely give them a try.

I have taken 3 different cars here over the last 5-6 years and have had everything from a reconstructed fuel line and rear coil springs to a bad blower relay replacement. Each time Mike and Rhonda have been fantastic, and have fixed the issue within a day, if not a matter of hours. Their pricing is fair, and I've yet to have to come back for one of their solutions to have it fixed again. So long as I live in the area, these are the only mechanics I actually trust to do things right.
