That's why we just LOVE Brooks Cannon at the Mount Pleasant SC store. She helped us select the perfect style furniture for our dining and living environment. But more than that, she selected the perfect fabrics for our upholstered pieces. Now that our items have arrived at our home, we couldn't be more pleased - in fact, we are so excited about just how great everything looks and how everything flows together in our open floor plan!! Brooks worked hard on our project and took the extra time and made the extra effort to be sure everything was just perfect. And Brooks is friendly, courteous and just oh so fun to work with!! So - if you are going to shop at the Ethan Allen Store in Mount Pleasant SC, be sure to ask for Brooks Cannon or make an appointment with Brooks before you come to the store!

Ethan Allen runs a first rate operation. They have high end products and they use the team concept to ensure their customers are happy. I loved the king size bed and the easy chair that we just purchased for our new home. We were able to get some discounting and the delivery was perfect. It was on the date that we wanted and the delivery people were very careful not to damage the walls or hardwood flooring. Yes, I'm going to purchase some additional items from them after we move into the house. Since my wife will not give up her easy chair at night, I'm thinking about buying the same type for myself. It's well constructed and surpasses others that I have seen in the markplace. Today most people are willing to spend a little more, if the items last in the long term. They want to buy from a company with a strong reputation for quality and service. Ethan Allen gets a "5 star rating" from me on all levels.

While visiting my daughter in DC, we happened to stop at Ethan Allen and I began talking to the sales associate who was from SC. She said I needed to talk to Jane in the Mt Pleasant store if I decided to make changes with my furniture. I did, and I have not regretted it one bit! Jane came to my house where she viewed the space I was hoping to make a change. She took measurements and gave suggestions. She was very professional but easy to talk to and saw my vision for the room. She kept me up to date on all purchases and made sure I was pleased. She even gave me suggestions with the decorative items I had. Would highly recommend Jane!!! The furniture and window treatments I purchased are absolutely beautiful! I love the completed look!

I usually take forever to make a decision. Jane at the Mt. Pleasant Ethan Allen was so helpful and patient. She has a wonderful design sense and helped guide me through choosing a color pallet that was exactly what I was imagining. I do not recommend working with Ethan Allen and specifically their Mount Pleasant, SC store location and management team. We have worked with this location for 1 year, purchasing 5 pieces of furniture and have spent $12,000+ to date. The fabric on my sofas is pilling after just 6 months, each piece of furniture was delivered later than specified (all delivered at 12-14 week lead time instead of the quoted 6-8 week lead time) and the dining bench was delivered about 4" shorter than specified on the website and all of our paperwork. Therefore, the dining bench doesn't fit with our existing dining table and needs to be returned. After several phone calls to corporate and store management, I was offered to return the bench with a 40% restocking fee (paying Ethan Allen $400) now 15 weeks/4 months after purchasing. See attached images, and I hope this post helps others to shop elsewhere. We have had great experiences with product and deliveries from local companies like Celadon and Steven Shell and national brands like Crate & Barrel, Serena & Lily, Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware.

Brooks helped select and arrange new bedroom furniture and accessories to compliment a new abstract painting we had recently acquired. She was able to coordinate the furniture with our original Ethan Allen furniture, and color-coordinate the upholstery, carpeting, drapes and accessories with our artwork. BUYER BEWARE!!! Even one star is too good for Ethan Allen, unfortunately you can't give them a zero star review. I placed a major furniture order in early September and when I received the first part of my order, thirteen pieces in all, EVERY single item was either incorrect, damaged or dirty. However, that wasn't the worst part, that came next once I started dealing with their customer service department. It started when no one from this store called me back when the incorrect dining table was delivered. I had to continue to call and leave messages for someone to finally come out and look at my furniture. I was horrified that my entire order was basically defective and of such poor quality that I requested a full refund. I soon found out that Ethan Allen will NEVER refund your money even if your funiture is: not in the finish you ordered, upholstered items arrive dirty covered in hand and finger prints, has chips and nicks in the finish, has a 2-inch gouge on a table top so rough that you can literally get splinters in your finger from touching it, dining chairs that do not match in height, shape or contour, or has a cabinet door that doesn't even close. Do yourself a favor, go to ARHAUS instead. They have a customer service department that values their customers and works to resolve issues quickly and without any inconvenience.

Ethan Allen and specifically our interior designer Tony Buccafurri were fantastic to work with. Firstly Ethan Allen has excellent and high quality furniture with which to pick from. You can tell from the look and feel that this is impressive furniture that will last you a long time. However we would not have been able to pick out the furniture and most importantly lay it out correctly for our space without the help of Tony. He came out to our house to take measurements, get a feel for the room, and get a feel for our house. After doing that he was able to mock up in easy to understand floor plans what furniture and layout(s) he would recommend. He was able to able to stick exactly within our budget while getting us terrific pieces that fit our aesthetic and desires perfectly. When we had some changes we wanted to make it was never a problem and Tony found perfect substitutions. The turnaround time was quicker than you would normally expect for custom furniture but well worth the wait. Lastly Tony personally accompanied the furniture delivery and even had us wait upstairs so he could get all the furniture placed exactly right and then call us down when it was all finished to give us that "wow" factor of seeing the final setup. All in all I highly recommend both Ethan Allen and Tony!

DO YOUR RESEARCH- AND DO NOT PURCHASE ETHAN ALLEN FURNITURE- THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. We sold our house and furniture in March of 2021. To make things easy, or so we thought, we decided to go to Ethan Allen (as we had many times before) and purchased approximately $25K worth of furniture including a sofa and two chairs covered in a fabric that we believed was performance fabric. I am sorry we decided not to go Haven's Furniture as we had purchased a white sofa from Haven's in Revolution fabric which was amazing and stayed extremely clean the entire time we owned it. We are very clean people and live in a brand new house. When we complained about the fabric that after 2 months (3 of us live in the house and we had no pets) as it appears to attract dirt and looked like it was 10 years old. Kathy White the Ethan Allen Market Design Leader for the Coastal Carolinas said that "since it is a new home, that the dust settling from construction paired with bodily oils probably has caused soiling." So, warning to anyone buying/building a new home, do not purchase white performance fabric from Ethan Allen as the dust settling may ruin your new furniture! What a joke. The attached pictures show the fabric after 2 months of ownership. I would NOT purchase anything from Ethan Allen furniture- do your research and you will hear so many stories like mine (and others much worse). I wish I had!!! Correspondence through the BBB with Ethan Allen: Ms. Joyce, We closely monitor all fabrics for performance issues and track service issues for every fabric in our assortment. The fabric you chose has had no other service alerts and is performing to our rigorous quality standards. As we've discussed, your furniture was delivered in new condition. Ethan Allen is not responsible for any soiling that occurred after delivery or the crushing of the chenille pile as these are the result of normal wear and usage and are not factory defects covered under warranty. Your performance fabric is easy to clean, and if the chenille pile is crushed from use, it can be restored by brushing. You can do this yourself or choose to use the services of a professional upholstery cleaning company. I regret that you are unhappy with your purchase, but Ethan Allen cannot assume the responsibility for maintaining the appearance of your furniture once in the home.
