It was really hard to make an appointment. I called them so many times (Tuesday, Oct 3) but nobody picked up. I made an appointment through the Facebook and left a note that I’d like them to call me back to discuss the details. A day later I get a call back and we discussed everything. A person on the phone seemed nice and polite. We agreed for the appointment on Saturday (Oct 7th) at 9 am. It supposed to be a birthday present for my boyfriend’s father. We came to Poughkeepsie all the way from NYC to make this birthday present happened. In the morning we took the car and went to the “Extreme Auto Care” hoping to come back with a clean car and surprise my boyfriend’s dad. But when we got to the place, it was closed. We waited for an hour and I tried to call and text all possible numbers but nobody responded. We just drove the same dirty car back home… I felt terrible. The present was ruined. I remember when the person on the phone told me “if you decide to cancel, please, call us back and let us know”… And he actually didn’t show up himself. Not reliable people UPDATE: Changing to 5 stars because I was reached out after the unpleasant situation happened and was told that due to a family emergency the shop was closed and they didn’t get a chance to notify us about it. We agreed to reschedule and we dropped off the car today. Vaughn (I apologize if I misspelled the name) did an amazing job and was very nice and polite. It smells nice, there are no stains on seats anymore, no dog fur and I don’t think we ever knew this car can be this shiny. We are so pleased with the result!

This company is great. I couldn't find a place to detail my car that wasn't booked for 2-3 weeks. Found extreme auto care, owned by a 19 year old professional named PJ. Made an appointment for the next day for 9AM. PJ was at my house at 8:50AM. I handed him my keys and I went about my day. 5 1/2 hours later, my SUV was brand new. Incredible attention to detail. I don't have one negative thing to say. Lots of options to choose from but I chose the full detail and I got exactly what I paid for. I would recommend this place to any friend. He's got my business.

PJ and his coworker are the hardest working men. They did an amazing job on our suv and minivan. They are honest, super friendly and accommodating. I cannot believe how much effort they put into our cars and got everything done in time. Our cars looked brand new. Great service, great price and best of all great customer service. We will be using them again definitely.

I recently had the exterior of my car detailed at the Wappingers location. While the exterior detailing was done well and the person who worked on my car was friendly, my overall experience was marred by poor communication from the owner, PJ. PJ's communication skills were some of the worst I've ever encountered. It's a shame because the actual service was decent, but the owner's attitude significantly detracted from my experience

PJ and his staff are absolutely AMAZING. I had just bought an older car with some wear and tear on it and after having other awesome experiences i knew right where to bring it! The exterior needed lots of work and brightening up and they did just that!! the paint looked close to new, head lights were gorgeous, and windows have never been clearer!! As for the interior i’m not sure what the previous owner did to destroy it but after a couple hours with these AMAZING people you would’ve thought it was straight out of the factory!! seats are beautiful and CLEAN, dash and steering wheel look great and the floor looks like it’s never been touched! Will be going back for touch ups regularly!! 100/10 recommend. THANK YOU GUYS❤️

This is an amazing local service. I was accommodated quickly, and was shocked when I got my car back. I have two kids so the back seat is disgusting and my car stunk to high heaven. My car was literally like new when I got it back. No smell, stains lifted, every last inch of my car was combed over meticulously. Totally impressed and worth every penny. Thanks guys!!!

The guys were extremely accommodating and helped me get my car done quick. They took their time and got everything soooo clean. Smoker who wanted car spotless for new baby coming. I did the disaster clean. Prices are very good you get what you pay for, & their prices are good for the expertise quality detailing they do. The headliners are spotless, I thought the light color was done with & I’d have to live with it!! I couldn’t of been happier with the customer service, updates & communication, their attention to detail, and just how sweet they both were!! You can tell they take pride and their work and love to make their customers happy. I will be going here for here on and out, & highly personally recommend them 10 out of 10!!! Thanks again guys!

I had an appointment scheduled for an in field car detailing, I tried calling the business number to confirm my appointment, always went straight to voicemail. Reached out via e-mail to ask if the appointment could be pushed back 30 minutes. PJ responded and said that was fine. Today I leave work early to anticipate the detailing appointment, PJ says they’ll be late. I say sure I can wait, and then PJ stops reaching out completely and they never show up to do the job. I was so excited to have a clean car and now I’m just really disappointed.

Absolutely terrible experience with Extreme Auto Care. Got my windows tinted here and the quality was awful and cheap film, sloppy application, full of bubbles and peeling within hours. The job looked rushed and unprofessional. I was told to come back the next day to get the windshield done, but the guy never showed up. Completely wasted my time. My car was also left dirty. In the end, I had to pay someone else to remove the garbage tint and redo everything properly (which the company told me it was an awful job) Total waste of money. Save yourself the headache. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
