To Sam and his crew at Exxon AutoCare in Galveston TX, I had no choice but to get another transmission just 3 WEEKS after Elite Transmission in Houston called themselves helping me and charged me $2200+ (which included $650 off as “HELPING ME” due to my disability and very limited income as a result of my cancer). I met Sam after calling around in desperate frustration for someone, anyone, who could not only get me another transmission, but work with me on the payment since I had just been taken to the cleaners by Elite Transmission. Sam NEVER ONCE faltered or wavered from ANYTHING he told me on the phone. Not only did he replace the 3 week old transmission from Elite with a gently used, SUPERB quality transmission with just 17k miles on it, he repaired the Purge Valve (broken by Elite) and an O2 sensor out of the TRUE kindness of his heart AT NO COST TO ME. Sam did ALL this for just $1400 ($1559 after all taxes and fees), this was their standard out the door cost, no “discounts” claiming to help me out. Not only did Sam give me a very HONEST and FAIR price for the Transmission, he went above and beyond all that by replacing the Purge Valve with a NEW ONE (instead of using superglue to fix it as Elite Transmission had done after claiming it was broken when I brought it to them) and an O2 sensor FREE of charge to “help” me. THAT IS WHAT TRUE HELP MEANS! I can not thank Sam and his crew enough for everything they have done. If I could tell the world that there is still an honest mechanic out there I'd yell it from the tallest buildings that Sam would be the guy they seek! HONEST, RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, and a true BLESSING in my time of despair and frustration. BLESS YOU ALL!!!

I felt a little uncomfortable stopping here for gas as a female driver. The pumps are serviced and you have to wait for an attendee to come outside and pump the gas and if you pay by card then they take the card inside to process the payment. The whole trip to get gas took over ten minutes and no one else was at the station at the same time as me.

Decent gas prices. Dirty station inside...and out. Like many say, there seems to be trash in the pump area/lot, as well as layers of grease, floor to ceiling but I just needed gas and paid cash. It's a gas station/mechanic shop that is not new, nice and shiny clean to appeal to the eye, but it serves its purpose. :-)

I wouldn't recommend this these to others. I always get an oil change there but after today I will no longer spend my hard earned money atvtgis people. The owner is ridiculous with his prices for the mechanical work & I truly did not appreciate being stereotyped or have any of prejudice behavior spoken on against me! When the boss asked about the type of brake pads I had in which I state i couldn't remind his reply was I automatically asuming i brought to cheaper one & when i asked how did he know if those were the ones i brought he replied it doesnt look like i would buyvthe more expressive ones. I could only conclude that he feel as if black people buy cheap things. He try to convince me that my car had an issue that was assumed to be going on before even checking the problem I felt it was in the end i was right. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DINE IN THAT PLACE AGAIN!

These guys are wonderful the only station in Texas I think where they will pump your cash for you if you are a senior or disabled I would pass up a station with a cent or so cheaper gas for their service

We pulled up to the full service by accident, but the attendant was so nice we went ahead and let him pump the gas. He checked the fluids and added oil. It's nice to have this service, especially when kids are in the car.

I paid at the pump. It's charged my card over $100. The cashier said oh it only charged you this much that I can see. He did not care at all. Expensive place with rude shady workers.

I always buy my gas and others here when I come to Galveston as an Uber driver. They refuse to let me use their restroom while I was badly in need. I had to go behind the store or do it on myself. This is not human. I see that a few gas stations start doing this and nothing we can do about it. I will never buy from that store and advise everyone to do the same just to let them know that we are the reason for the store to exist.

My husband, grandson Eedan and I stopped to buy gasoline, use the restrooms and buy soft drinks, at this Exxon, today. The small, free parking lot is very rough and uneven. Someone had threw a bag of trash down in the parking lot, recently. There was a trash can steps away, from the bag. The store is clean, as are the well-stocked bathrooms. It's a tiny store, so choices are limited. However, it's worth a stop for its gasoline, clean restrooms and cold beverages.

My experience at this gas station was disappointing. When I tried to use the restroom, an older lady who was cleaning it responded with a negative attitude, complaining about customers using it. I mentioned that it’s normal for a public restroom to be used. Then another staff member, a Hispanic man, intervened and asked me to leave the store, using rude language. Additionally, the store conditions were poor, and the prices were unreasonable. If you have the opportunity, don’t stop by that store.”
