My band needed our fuel pump replaced on our van on a Saturday. We didnt have much luck until we called Fernandez and they worked on it until 9pm ON A SATURDAY and let us pick it up Sunday morning. They really helped us out! Solid guys over there!

Outstanding. We were just in Tyler for a Saturday trip and broke down with little to no hope. Hardly any mechanic shops were open so it was hard to find anyone that would even be able to diagnose the truck. We found these guys and got in touch with Walter. He told us they close at three, but if we could make it to the shop before then, he’d stay longer to make sure we were taken care of. The tow truck got us there at about 2:30 and he jumped straight to work. I’ve got to be honest, I was a little worried based off the location, but was reminded “not to judge a book by its cover.” Walter found out it was the starter, he gave us a more than fair price, knocked it out in about 1 hr and 15 mins! While finishing up, it was almost 4 o’clock, he told us he was hoping to get home earlier that day for his son’s birthday, but just couldn’t leave us hanging. WOW! Thank you Walter!

I just have to give a HUGE shout out to Fernandez Auto Service in Tyler! We were taking the grands to lunch and fun when the radiator hose blew a hole about 7 miles from Tyler…on a Saturday…about 1:00. Uuuugh. This guy was the third mechanic I called. He heard my situation, offered to fix it. We limped it the seven miles, and this garage owner spent FOUR HOURS of his Saturday replacing the hose and thermostat (because he had to wait for engine to cool between the stages). I HIGHLY recommend this guy if you live in/near Tyler and need a mechanic with INTEGRITY, give him a call! He is not set up to take cards, so just know that…but totally worth it!
