I had a very positive experience at Firestone, thanks to the exceptional customer care provided by Charlotte. Had them open the hood of my car because it was stuck to a prior issue. They had left the hood of my car open. While I was driving on the freeway it flew open and almost ended me and others lives. My windshield also got cracked in the process due to negligence. The hood of my car flew open on the freeway due to them not closing it and saying “it would lock again if it closed.” Causing me to not be able to see and the hood of my car cracking my windshield on the highway. They are not taking accountability for what happened and what could have possibly happened to me. The whole hood of my car flew up while I was driving and got stuck in my windshield. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. When I tried speaking to someone on the phone about this situation he took no accountability. But if something did happen ( thankfully it didn’t ). It would have been on this companies hands due to negligence on your end. I do not want any legal problems, but being the reason my wield shield is now cracked and then not taking accountability is disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for any type of service. Truly terrible.

I arrived at around 3:30 well before their posted closing time of 5:00 PM, needing urgent tire service the first time and a wheel alignment the second time. The shop was still open, but the representative named Cesar told me they couldn’t help because they were ‘too busy with workload’ and already backed up. They refused to even look at my car or squeeze me in for a quick fix, even though I was polite and willing to wait. I ended up having to leave with the same problem twice and go somewhere else, wasting time and risking safety on the road. Extremely disappointing customer service — if you’re closing at 5, you should be able to help customers who show up before closing. Won’t be back.

Made an appointment for a Vehicle Inspection visit. Got there 20 minutes early. Two hours later my car was still sitting where I parked it. Pointed out my car had been forgotten. Got a lot of surprised looks and a promise they would have it inspected an hour later. After it was supposedly inspected and was given the keys.I got a block away before noticing a brake light failure warning. My brake lights were fine before taking the car in! I When I returned and told them about the warning light, they told me I would have to pay to get it fixed. Some Inspection visit! This was the location on Pines Blvd in Pembroke Pines, FL.

This morning I went to Firestone to get my son’s car oil changed and to repair a punctured tire. The only woman who assisted me was not pleasant from the beginning. When she went to check the tire, without properly inspecting it, she immediately told me that it needed to be replaced because the metal was on the edge, which was not true. I personally checked the tire and it did not have that issue. To avoid an unnecessary argument, I decided to take the car and leave to another shop. My son has been a customer there for many years, In fact, just two weeks ago he purchased and installed four new tires there, paying around $800. I find it abusive to try to charge for a replacement that was not needed. Practices like this only result in losing loyal customers. At another shop, they were able to repair the tire without any issues and also performed the oil change. In my personal opinion, situations like this raise serious concerns about the honesty of the service. I advised my son not to return to that establishment.

We have had nothing short of exceptional service at this Firestone location. Our first trip to Firestone was two weeks ago. We were driving one night right before we were about to take a road trip and the oil light came on in my husbands truck. We pulled in about 20 minutes prior to closing hoping someone would help us and they did. They got us in and out quickly and provided great customer service. Since we had a great experience we took a chance and had them look at my suv that had been at a local dealership for awhile. The dealership quoted us a crazy amount to do a small amount of work that may or may not fix the issue - no other options as a starting point. We called in yesterday to quote the parts and labor to compare vs the dealership, surprise Firestone was 1/3 the cost and they were using the same dealership brand parts. They then asked some follow up questions and suggested instead we bring it in and have them look at it before we purchased any parts. We brought it in today. The master technician did a deep dive and was able to articulate what they found and how to fix it. We agreed to start with his suggestion and again surprise surprise the fix worked and it was 1/8 the cost of the original quote to “see if that would work”. We could not be more pleased with the service we have received. Thank you to everyone, but specifically Kendall and Mario. You guys are awesome and we greatly appreciate your level of communication and commitment to finding a solution that worked for us!

The team in this Firestone saved my life & cad last Sunday. My car started having issues with steering on Saturday night making a lot of noises when I turned the wheel or slowed down and hit the brake, it felt like something was loose and misaligned. I got worried and on Sunday the only place that was open and able to diagnose this issue was Firestone. Turns out I had recently changed my cars suspension with my locally trusted mechanic, and they didn’t tighten or adjust the ball joint correctly, my tires were misaligned because of it, and the front wheels could have fallen off at any minute! If it wasn’t to Charlotte at this Firestone and her manager’s willingness to fit me in the schedule (they were very busy that day) chances are things could have gotten much worse for me. They were patient with all my questions, detailed in their explanation, and kind and empathetic with their approach. I was able to drive my car back home that same day. And I am going back to my mechanic now to address what’s happened with a much more prepared understanding about what happened, and how they should address this error on their part. Mistakes happen! But I am sure glad Firestone was able to help me before it was too late.
