The customer service rep that checked me in was not friendly and didn’t make me feel welcome at all. I’m giving 5 stars because the representative that met with me after my alignment was done more than made up for him! He was very knowledgeable, extremely nice and he explained everything well!! This was my first visit after my original alignment 6 months ago when I purchased the lifetime alignment for my car and just as promised this visit cost me nothing.

Today, Mother's Day, I stopped by the Chamblee Firestone location (5578 Peachtree Industrial Blvd 30341) for assistance with a tire. I asked to either replace it or get help changing it to my donut spare, as I was dressed to go to a Mother's Day dinner. I was told they did not have a tire to install today, but they also said their policy was to not assist with the tire change unless I was buying a tire - a service I would have expected to pay for. I ended up pulling into a lightly shaded area in their parking lot and changing the tire myself. Once finished, I went back inside the store to wash my hands (which I asked to do), and found both the technician and person I spoke with sitting in the waiting area watching basketball. I find it highly atrocious for a company that specializes in the service of vehicles to have a policy that does not allow assistance with a tire change. It would make sense to refuse service if I were asking for free labor. But, I was told outright that the assistance was not an option. I would ask Firestone to reexamine its policy, and take into consideration the human element. A lady (or person, period) should not have to change her own tire in the parking lot of a car service shop - regardless of the hot weather and whether dressed for an event or not - just because it doesn't fit the company's policy. A service company should offer service. I am extremely disappointed in Firestone and its employees today.

Firestone was pretty good about 10 years ago when I got tires for my vehicle. I have stopped there until recently. I had called to get a quote on a service I needed. I stopped by about a day later planning to get the service performed. I asked the person at the desk if the quote was still the same. Unfortunately, the price had increased from what they told me over the phone. I ended up going somewhere else for a much cheaper price.

Horrible customer service. Told me 2 hours before I even said why I was there. Then the prices were twice what I expected. Went across the street to butler wheels and tires and the prices were half as much and the employees were welcoming and friendly. I was told 40 something dollars for check engine light and butler was free. Was told 130 for a battery for tire pressure sensor but butler only charged 70 dollars. I wanted a oil change and butler didn't offer that but Firestone quoted almost 130.

The Perimeter location sent me here because their systems were down and they wouldn't have been able to look up my appointment or look up my account. This store did get me taken care of fairly quickly and did a good job on the alignment but then they tried to scam me into new tires. The guy told me my rear tires were "at the wear bars". Complete and total bold faced lie. You can see by my picture, which I took immediately after getting home, that the tires are no where near the wear bars and even still have both letters for "Dry" and "Wet" traction (this is a Continental specific thing). I don't think they actually looked at the tires though because they quoted me for 245/40R19 which isn't even close to what is on the car. I have 275/40R18s. Definitely don't let these guys take your money. I suppose since I have the lifetime alignments, and therefore didn't have to pay anything for my service, they were trying to get something out of me.
