I came here to get a tire changed due to the fact it had a flat spot. I went in and told the woman that I need my driver side, rear tire changed. They changed my tire, I paid $172, and I left. A few days later I realize they changed the wrong tire. I specifically stated the driver side rear, and they changed the driver side front. 4 days passed since I realized the error, so I called the store and they advised me to come back tomorrow, day 5. I was told initially that the service manager “remembered there were no issues with my other tires”, as if trying to push me off. I advised them that answer doesn’t work for me, and I’d like them to bring my car in and put it on the lift to look at the tire. After doing so, they advised me that yes my rear, driver side tire has a flat spot and that I need to purchase a new tire. I told them that I already did that a few days prior and that this was their error. The service manager, Brandon, came out and told me he can’t do “he said she said”. That my “front tires were on their way out anyways.” And also, that “he probably has my tire they took off but it would be like a needle in a hay stack to find in the back.” Told me there’s nothing he can do for me other than discounting a tire which would’ve cost me another $90 due to their error. I declined, called customer service and put in a claim. I was told I would hear back in 2 business days so after not hearing back by the 3rd business day, I called back. Told again I’d hear back in another 2 business days. I have yet to get a response or resolution. Worst service I’ve ever received. DO NOT GO HERE.

Reached out for an appointment on 1/31 and unfortunately the woman handling incoming calls was extremely rude and cut me off mid sentence. This location needs to reevaluate their customer service training because this short interaction completely deterred me from doing business with this location.

The service was excellent. This was a newly purchased vehicle and Alberto Cortes was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He pointed out that the tires on this vehicle were going to be replaced in the near future. I recommend this Firestone store for any future services.

It was easy making an appointment on line. However, 5 minutes from arriving i was called and asked to make an appointment for another time. Then when my truck service was done, i waited in the waiting room for more than 30 minutes because the technician did not notify the service manager my work was complete. I had to go up to her and ask if it was finished. There seems to be a lot of miscommunication at this place. Overall, the work was done and satisfied with how the work turned out

I was at another location which I had me waiting in my car for over 30 minutes so I decided to go head over to Firestone which offers a waiting lounge that provided water, tv, and public bathroom. I would highly recommend this place for emission testing.

11/8 I brought my car in with a flat tire - I arrived at Firestone around 9:30 am, and was told "it could be a while". Around noon I was told I needed 4 new tires. the tires I purchased from you in FEBRUARY, were "not wearing well on my car "my disappointment lies in paying over $1600 for new tires, that were recommended by your people then told they needed to be replaced 7 months later. I am frustrated I was quoted $80 a tire, and they ended being 135 each, then $20 a tire added for roadside assistance, THEN another alignment - $765 later. and my car was not ready until 5:00 - even one of your front desk agents commented on how long it took. 5 days later my tire pressure sensor went off, you topped it off, then it came on AGAIN - Yesterday i brought the car in - 90 mins later i left with a patch on a NEW tire. and today, the light came on again. I am beyond disappointed - the tire is less than 2 weeks old, why was it not replaced? I do not have time to continually bring my car in to be serviced incompetently. especially after spending over $2500 with you this year alone. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

First time going there for an oil change they put the wrong oil in. Few months later I went there I tried to use a discount sticker on my dash for $ off next visit and was turned away - no fine print, just wouldn't honor it since I used another discount for an oil change. Last time I went there I asked for a free brake inspection from the coupon. Was asked if there was any issues (code for if you dont say anything is wrong, we wont waste our time). To no ones surprise they didnt do any brake inspection - I was told I would get a report through email and was declined a paper copy at the front desk. No email and run around on a call back to get the report. Never got it. Worst place to go get any service done, prices are not fair unless you have a coupon and this location and the larger business is dishonest and imcompetent. Upselling is the only thing they are attentively watching, not my owners manual that tells them exactly what oil to put in or my message on the service appointment saying the same.

I made an appointment with frank for 8am I asked him for an estimate of time and he stated over the phone it’ll take 1.5 hours so I decided to stay . I was there for 2 hours and 45 minutes . If I would’ve known I would have left my car instead of staying . It was extremely inconsiderate . My time is extremely valuable to be wasting because of the lack of communication I was given . After I got my car they didn’t even bother to reset my tire pressure light . I had to do it . I will never come here again and will stick with town fair tire. I would rather take the drive than have terrible customer service

I had scheduled an emissions testing appointment online. I needed to change the date but I couldn’t do it online so I called Firestone in Glastonbury. A person named Brian answered so I proceeded to ask him to reschedule my online appointment for which I had a “reservation number”. He was extremely rude, unprofessional and dismissive. He told me that they don’t take appointments for emissions even though I had made an online appointment for emissions testing. I asked him if he could tell me when is the time when there’s usually less people coming in for emissions testing. His response was: “I can’t predict the future. We do ALL emissions testing in the area so I can’t tell you”. I tried to stay polite so I told him that it was a simple question and since he worked there he could maybe tell me a good time to come. He was so disrespectful and unprofessional! I need tires as well for my Jeep. I was going to get them at this Firestone but, thanks to Brian, I’ll take my business elsewhere, like Monro which is 1 minute from Firestone and the people that work there are not rude and unprofessional as Brian was. Avoid this place if you can! There are plenty of options.

I recently got 4 new tires and an alignment here. They did an excellent job, on my 2017 Chevy express 3500 van. The time before I had the dealership do 4 tires and alignment and they never could get the alignment right. So I paid another alignment garage and they never got it right either. I am so happy with the job Firestone did and I highly recommend them.

Stopped into Firestone for an emissions test -- huge mistake. I stood there for a good five minutes before anyone even looked up. A quick "be right with you" would've been nice. When I finally got someone's attention, they told me it's first come, first serve. No problem. Then they said it'd be a 90-minute wait. I said I'd come back, and they still wouldn't commit -- told me it'd still be first come, first serve when I returned. The kicker? The same mechanic does emissions and other jobs, so basically, no guarantees at all. Translation: they clearly don't want to be doing emissions tests. I called Monroe Muffler on Main Street instead -- got a same-day appointment and was in and out in 10 minutes. Friendly, fast, and professional. I've bought multiple sets of tires from Firestone over the years, but after this experience I'm done. The attitude here was terrible. Monroe just earned a new customer.

I have a 2018 Corolla and have been coming here for oil changes for a while, and last year bought Weatherpeak tires from them, which were expensive, but have been performing excellently. The other day I went in for what I thought would just be an oil change and wiper blades, but they found some other overdue issues that needed addressing… well, 2.5 hours and a larger bill than anticipated later… my ‘Rolla-Royce is running like it did when it was new, no exaggeration. Turns out the brake fluid was a little low, now they’re very responsive in comparison. Acceleration has suddenly improved, probably because of the new engine filter, the new wiper blades they installed are great, and so on. I’ve gotten nothing but good service from these folks, the wait times are reasonable with the amount of work put in, and the pricing for the amount of effort is fair. In comparison I’ve had too many poor experiences at the Toyota Superstore, they even CAUSED some issues due to poorly done installations that this Firestone team later found and fixed for me (not to mention their wait times are unusually long)… so Firestone is getting my business from now on.

This service is not what I expect from this trusted shop. I had two times bad experience with this shop. First they said that front wheel bearings are not good in shape needs to be changed, I went to my local mechanic and got it checked it was all in good shape. All it needed was some small rings were got lost during tire rotation and he put them back in and problem solved in just $40 instead of $1200 quote. Second time battery issue - Firestone said battery needs to be changed while I went to three different shop that battery is healthy, The car starter was bad and we just replaced it and now my car is running in good condition with that same old battery and no issues. The thing is that they are not able to detect the problem main cause and wanted customers to just pay for the whole new part. In my both case it wouldn't work.

I want to give this whole team a huge shoutout, they were superb! I had my wheels and tires stolen off my vehicle in Downtown Hartford from an open air parking lot.The team at this location gave me 6 star service from over the phone to the direct price quote (No shifty business on bait & switch pricing.) and all the way to the follow up with the quote sent through email in a timely matter. The service was excellent, they came to me at my location wherein my vehicle was disabled and put the wheels & tires on my car for me there, which allowed me to then drive it for a check up. They proceeded from there to do a check up, test drive, & tire alignment. I was very impressed from top to bottom with the great communication & white glove service. The leadership group here is doing an excellent job on establishing the right culture. I am a fan & would recommended this Firestone to anyone within whom is looking for car service --- Customer service with honest clean business practices are alive & well at the Glastonbury Firestone Location. Horrible experience. The "manager" is money hungry. I went in to get a replacement tire because it popped among other reasons (all four break rotors and pads, and oil change). I set up an appointment well in advance. Once I brought in my vehicle and dropped it off, they told me they would not touch my car. Thee reason...they said "because I have a all wheel drive car they will only replace all four and will never touch just one tire". Ridiculous! The other tires are pretty new and have very decent tread, but they would have never know because they never even moved or looked at my car. I will never come to this firestone especially if the same manager remains. I ended up buying the tire and driving to Monro to get all my services done. I will do this for all my needs from this point forward! I would rather pay them my thousands of dollars, instead of enriched a company all about a quick buck.

I had a battery issue as indicated by the warning message. No appointment. I stopped in to hopefully have it checked out as soon as possible and remedied. The associates were friendly and responsive, and they replaced my car's battery in record time. I appreciated their taking my car without an appointment and replacing the battery within a few hours.
