Worst experience I have ever had. My car was supposed to be ready in 1 day, and this guy kept milking it. After my car was at his shop for 2 weeks, I picked it up drove it a block and the engine shut off. My car is just as bad if not worst than when I took it there. DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY!!! He is LAME and doesn't know anything about mechanics.

I had a very good experience with five j's jerry was very helpful had my car fixed on time and had really reasonable prices. I don't think there is mechanics like these no more. I've sent my mother here for repairs and Jerry and the crew have never failed us.

I took my car for an AC diagnose, they said the Compressor needs to be replaced, I paid $500 cash to get it fixed. When I picked up my car and started to drive, the car was just blowing hot air. I called them and they told me to bring it back to re-check the problem. They called me after 2 hours and said that it was the fuse and I had to pay another $98.00. That should have been the first thing to replace. This was a RIP off. I DO NOT RECOMMEND taking your car at this location.

I left my car at this shop a week and a half ago. I was told my car would be ready the next day, it wasn’t. Since then, the shop has been closed & no one is answering the phone. Randomly an older man answers and he pretends to not be related to this shop. He hungs up. At this point the police is getting involved. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. SCAMMERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I called them . They said 30 dollar for an oil change. After I went to there, they charged 40 dollers for my sedan. In addition, they told me 5 dollar for card transaction, but written down it said 5%. Then they told me they can not take card, asked me go to bank and get cash. after I was gone for 5 mins , they try to calling me over and over. definitely they are not very honest to do business. I do not like them at all , and won’t go bank any more. their service is very bad!

If you're looking for an honest mechanic, stop right here! Five J's was a God sent. Have a toyota mini truck with a frozen a/c compressor, radiator replacement, and fan belt replacement. They did quick work and showed replaced parts . All at a reasonable price ....will be going back definitely in the future.

The main person, I would say Middle Eastern appearance, was disrespectful. Back story: car was owned by someone who took it here for a diagnostic. Apparently that owner was disrespectful to this mechanic. Fast forward, car is now with new owner, since this mechanic knew the issue of the car, we went with him. He refused to work on the car due to previous owner. I get it. Okay, but he was NOW the one who was disrespectful with the new owner and was rude and ignored me while I calmly and respectfully explained that the car was no longer owned by previous owner. Simply ignored me. Unprofessional service. Be mindful of his high temperament. Would not recommend. Would give 0 star if able to. Bad experience.

This place is good. The Mechanic who runs it is honest and professional. I've had glass work done here when my car got broken into and he was able to get me a new window at a reasonable price. He even vacuumed the broken glass out of my car. I've come back to him for oil changes and he always does a good job! If you need car work and want a good, honest, professional, you come here! and if you want to get a bite to eat while your car's getting worked on you can walk over to DoubleZ.

They overcharge. They charged me 35$ to take out a nail in my tire. And they don’t tell you the price until AFTER they start working, so you really have no choice but to pay their price. Not very honest,

This is not a good place to take your car ! They couldn’t fix my cousins car at all! It was in the shop for about 9 months and they could not figure out what was wrong with it! They lost parts that were for the car and made him get new ones ! Literally did nothing to the car !!! This is the worst place to go. Don’t waste your money here! He took it to otanis shop in Montebello and they figured out what was wrong with it and fixed it!

Johnathan, the owner, knows what he’s doing. He identified the cause of my engine light being turned on (one of my cylinders was busted) and ordered one (instead of ordering the entire set of cylinders) and replaced it. So honest and knowledgeable! I will definitely go back to him.

Can’t tell why charged $40.00 for hazardous waste? 1ton waste is $49.00 don’t think from regular 4 door sedan has that much waste. Not good for trading your reputation for $40 not worth it.

I took my vehicle here for the 1st time to pass a smog check. I spoke to Jonathan, he charged me exactly what he said he would charge, and he provided excellent customer service. Jay was the J of the 5J’s family owned business that helped me when I recently stopped by to see about getting some service done and was impressed and refreshed having need for a local mechanic so just finished replacement of my crankshaft positioning sensor, CV boot axle and traditional oil change since been around 4K since last change out (I have tried to complete every 7,500 miles or sooner since the manual says 7500 but I drive hard exactly 400,000 miles hard so I guess I am doing something right. Back to the outstanding service Jay provided. I will be bringing Betsy back to 5J’s for future maintenance. Highly recommend when needed Thanks again Jay
