One of my Vehicles had a flat Tire. We checked at Just Tire, performance Tire and Firestone no one had the tire we needed or asked to take a look. Greg not only had a tire and took a look. He put a Crew on my E 450 bus removed the tire realized it was a faulty Valve stem. He Repaired it in about 30 minutes. Are you ready for the Kicker! He did not accept my payment he Graciously said no Charge Merry Christmas. I told Albert to tip them and he didn't accept. What can I say Unexpected Good Will can not be bought just given! Took the car in for an “oil change” and $1000 later, the oil was not changed. Yes I agreed to having other stuff worked on but wasn’t expecting to leave the car all day and pick it up and still need to go to another place to get an oil change. Yes this place was pretty pricey but more than money I value my time and was pretty disappointed the reason I even brought the car in was not accomplished. The customer service was great though just confused why the oil wasn’t changed first.

Greg and his team will diagnose and fix ANYTHING! Whether you need an oil change, new tires, or a rebuilt engine or transmission, Greg and Armondo will get it done at a fair price. Pablo has come out to Lake View Terrace twice to get two different cars running for us. If Greg can't do what you need done at his shop, just drop your car off with him and he'll contract the service out to someone who can. He has done tire alignments, body work, and a complete paint job for us and all we did was drop the car off at his shop. He did everything else.

These guys have done a lot of work for me in the past. They are honest, quick, and don’t care to charge you for little things. They have volunteered a ton of work, like diagnosing problems and filling up tires, etc. They’re the kind of mechanics you want to take your car to.

Wow! I’m so impressed to be honest Came with a weird noise clunking in my car Greg arrived and I was immediately assisted He was so easy on the eyes Told me what issues I had because I knew I have not done any car maintence in a while He spoke the realist truth And was like you know This needs work (which I knew) but he told me that I can wait a while because he knew I had a wedding coming that required funding lol. He was so kind to even offer to take the labor away for filters and oil change was $30 I have found the best honest mechanic worth the distance that won’t take advantage Thanks Google review for recommendation

As a woman who knows nothing about cars. it's always stressful getting my car serviced ... but not any more! Bob and the guys at La Canada Auto Repair are the best! They are HONEST and they do great work. And their prices are great! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Finally, I have found someone that I completely trust. I know they won't screw me over. An absolutely surperb shop. I've been coming here for close to 10 years now, across multiple cars. Greg and his team have always been kind, courteous, and most importantly, HONEST. Seriously, they've saved me money by not doing repairs I thought I needed but didn't and were upfront about it the whole time. Everyone working the floor is always easy to talk to and get a straight answer about your car's needs. Best piece of advice for them is to always call ahead and describe the service you need. Depending on the day, their bay can be backed up pretty deep due to their popularity around town. If you coordinate with them ahead of time, they'll get you in and out much faster than if you just drive up. Seriously great shop, I can't recommend them enough and I've been a happy customer for many years now.

Good honest people here. Greg and his team have always been very fair, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with every time i call in. From oil changes to tire repairs they have a variety of services and they do a damn good job at it too. I’ve been taking my Honda here over the past 6 month for a bunch of different issues and every time Greg and his team are super helpful. And they always have good referrals to other shops in case they aren’t able to do something. I got in a small accident recently and needed a part of my bumper repainted. Greg was able to refer me to his friend in the area, so i called him and got the work done :) Overall a great shop to go to with honest service and kind people, highly recommended.

I have been using Flintridge Automotive for many years and am finally leaving a long-overdue review for these wonderful guys. I recently took my car to a Toyota dealership for a regular maintenance and was told that my water pump was leaking, and the dealership wanted to charge me over $1,200 to have it fixed (shame on you, Bob Smith Toyota in Montrose). Naturally, I had my doubts and checked under my car multiple times and saw no leakage of fluids. Then, I decided to contact Flintridge Automotive to get a second opinion, and guess what? My water pump is NOT leaking, and I don't need to have it replaced. Not only that, the owner Greg was so kind to not even charge me a single penny for his time and efforts. You can't get this kind of honesty, knowledge, combined with service anywhere else these days. I wholeheartedly HIGHLY RECOMMEND Flintridge Automotive to anyone looking for a auto mechanic shop that is knowledgeable, HONEST, and service-oriented! Look no further!!

These guys have more work than they can handle and it shows in the end result of their service. They don’t even communicate unless you show up in person - then its just unhelpful passing of the responsibility between whoever happens to be there. Untrustworthy, broke our vehicle more and still charged us. Approached for in person resolution and was essentially told to drive an undrivable vehicle off their lot. Don’t give these guys any more business they can’t handle it responsibly.
