I went to see Bobby on a recommendation of a friend. After 5 different shops telling me that my transmission was completely shot and needed to be replaced to the tune of between $1,400-$2,300 it turned out Bobby's assessment of a bad coil and a spark plug was dead on correct! He will not only be getting 2 year's of advertising, but also all my business and referrals to everyone I know and meet here in the high desert. If only every mechanic could be so honest mechanics would have a much better reputation!

The most kind and caring gentleman Bobby & Codywork here, amazing friendly, stress-free service experience. Pricing is the best in town. Both Bobby and Cody are sweet and patient. I strongly Recommend Frank's Auto they did our brake and light inspections, for the DMV. I was needing a new engine that I purchased to be put in my car and after talking with the owner he offered me half the price of what everyone else was asking for. After talking to him and the rest of the employees they were all very nice and knowledgeable of what the car was needing and explaining everything to me in good detail. I got the new engine to them on Thursday and I told them I needed the car fixed by Wednesday and sure enough the fixed it by that date, they even came on the weekend to make sure it got done on time too.When the car was fixed I was hearing some odd noise from the tire (something that was not on the list to fix) and they ended up staying over an hour past their closing time just to make sure it was good to drive. You don't often see care for customers like you do here. Few months later I have no problems with the engine no leaks no check engine light no nothing, sadly enough though my spider gears ended being broken and had to get them fixed.. Too bad I wasn't still in the area otherwise I'd take it to them! The place may not be big but they know what they're doing and even helped me with pricing too, great guys and great place I'd go here every time I need any work done if I was still in the state!

" Don't judge a book by its cover. " This auto shop might not look so fancy outside but what you'll find inside are treasured workers who not only know what they're doing but also very helpful, polite and honest people namely Bobby, Cody, his brother, and Brian. They're in this business for sooo many years for a valid reason. Please support Frank's Auto. I bet you won't get disappointed. ( Lights and Break Inspection served as well. Location is only 4-5 miles away from DMV. )

All I can say about this mechanic and the people that work here is that I’m very Satisfied! It’s really hard to find an auto shop that is honest, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Main point is HONEST!!! Before I know Frank’s Auto I struggles with mechanics that fix one thing and destroy another thing. Then one of the smog test guy recommended us to Frank’s Auto and it’s the BEST thing ever. Mr. Bobby is Superb! He helped me so much with both of my cars. He is very patient in explaining to me about the parts I need and any problems with my cars. Brian and the other two guys (Sorry didn’t catch your names) are also amazing. When they fix your car, your car is 100% fixed, no more problems! They are also very handy and creative. From the bottom of my heart, I am super Grateful and Thankful to have everyone in Frank’s Auto to fix and maintain my cars. I trust them 100% with all of my cars’ maintenances.

I love the place. Perhaps it's because I'm a bit old, this is an old timers repair shop. They know what running boards are or the meaning of "three on a tree" I'm sure they work on more modern cars but I like my old Caravan and my old Hyundai. Bobby and his crew of rag tag mechanics will take care of your car needs.

I can't say enough about how awesome this place is!!! It is rare to find such a fair, honest, and affordable auto shop that does great work. I have been taking my cars and trucks to them for years. I refer all of my family and friends because these guys are THE BEST I've ever come across in my entire life. If you have trouble with your car or truck these are the best people to go to. UPDATE- 06.08.2022- Years and years later these guys are still THE BEST!!! They consistently and reliably keep me on the road safely in the most inexpensive ways possible. The work they do and the advice they offer is extremely honest and all about getting down the road safely, effectively, efficiently, and at amazing value.
