Hi. Thought I was a valued monthly subscriber to this car wash until they called the police on me for using the vacuum. they assumed I didn’t have a monthly pass. Police officer came up to me interrupting my Sunday wash and vac. won’t be returning and cancelled my subscription I’ve had for numerous years. Only one of there vacuums work the first one near entrance. And mechanical car wash sucks still bunch of dirt on my vehicle every time and leave scratches on my vehicle I would give them no stars if I could.Their are plenty other car washes in the area that value there customers.

Cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff here is. I came in with a seriously dirty jeep post off-roading. Hector and Jesus were welcoming, amenable and helpful, taking a big chunk out of their day to work on it. The car looks better than it did off the lot! Highly recommend their services for anyone looking for a first class customer experience!

Signed up for monthly plan on my second time here. These people leaving one star reviews need to know the difference between their car being detailed and washed. You are getting a car wash not your car detailed. I must say I went to mobile one (their employees fight non stop and have an atttiude) on mill plain and a couple others before choosing where to get monthly plan and this one was the best out of the other 3 I tried over the last couple months. The people that work there are very nice and you’re in and out and I think they do a pretty good job personally. If I got a touch up a thing here or thing it’s the norm not a big deal. I have zero complaints about Freds. The people complaining are the ones who can’t even change a light bulb in their house ignore the stupidity. They do a good job for a fair price.

EDIT - Received prompt kind reply from Owner and am looking forward to the improvements that are in the works!! I have enjoyed my monthly membership here so far. The price is very reasonable and if you are someone who likes to keep your car clean, the value cannot be beaten. The wash itself is about a 7. I signed up for the most expensive wash tier and I have had to go through a 2nd time more than once. I've also needed to wipe a few things down myself afterward, most recently the rear bumper/trunk, but also excess tire shine coating the wheels most times. They have 3 free vacuums. I only use them if one is immediately available as I don't find them very powerful but for free, they get the job done. All in all great value, and once they get those couple things dialed in a little better it sounds like it'll be the best in the area.

hi.I just left this car wash and the owner is a very rude person. you can tell by his/her responses in the reviews if you scroll down. I was also their last weekend and he called the cops on a guy with a monthly pass simply trying to vacuum his car. I saw the whole exchange. as far as car wash it is one star worthy have to go thru multiple times for car to be clean. the vacuums do not work. you pay monthly for free vac but they do not work only one out of the three work. I do not recommend this place poor service rude owner and staff. do not waste your money for poor quality.

Went there last Saturday. Paid for the most expensive and complete wash, they didn’t take care of inspecting or anything that would say something might be broken by the brushes. Result. Broke my car rear deflectors. I told the manager who was rude and said with attitude that they wouldn’t cover it because was aftermarket accessories. I don’t recommend at all. Poor service and very rude crew. Doesn’t worth the hassle. If I could I would rate less than one star.

This place sucks. Paid $40+ for interior wash. They took a long time to clean and I still had to tell them they didn’t wipe down any of the screens in my car and forgot my tire shine. I also tipped them 7$ right away when I got out my car so the poor service was extremely disappointing. I was heading out for a road trip and didn’t have time to clean my car myself so I figured I’d support local business but damn this place is basically a ripoff. Please avoid

I paid 21 dollars for the wash with undercarriage and the undercarriage was still extremely dirty, still coated with mud. I'm disappointed. The guys were nice, towel wipe the car, the vacuum is free.

Exterior wash is fine although expensive. Don't waste your money on a full service wash, $40+ and the car mats were still dirty, front windshield was not cleaned and had multiple streaks, even the radio touchscreen was not cleaned. Would never use the full service again.

I went to get a car wash there using my credit card in the summer. A gentleman was waiting near the kiosk for the payment telling me that he needed to do it for me since it wasn’t working properly. I gave him my card and off I went and got my car wash. That was in June, now three months later, I did not realize that my card was enrolled in a monthly car wash subscription. I’ve been paying for service that I did not sign up for! This is an absolutely unacceptable business practice so please be careful if you go there!! I will try to dispute the charges and update at a later time. This is the follow up review. After discussing the issue with the manager, he told me that he would contact his boss and get back to me. He did say that I would probably not get all of the money back even though his records indicated that I never went back to get a car wash there after that initial date. But then a week later he did a call me to say that they would be refunding the whole amount, so I’m glad that the whole issue has been resolved!

Great car wash, with great staff. Been going for a few years. Ownership changed but quality remained. If your local in area would def recommend it. I have the membership package so I get unlimited washes for a fixed price. Only thing not included is the ceramic seal which they want to charge an additional 5$. Spoke to the owner last year and he said they will be adding it for 2024 at no additional cost. So still waiting on that to happen. Once that does I would def give this car wash 5 stars!

This is the worse car wash place I have ever visited. They didn’t even clean the outside correctly their machine pushes your car through like it’s trying to get rid of you and they barely even wet the car when first attempting to clean the outside. The inside I had to buy armor all and clean it myself. Spent $40 and left with a dirty car. They didn’t do the windows on the inside or the doors or the hatch-back. I mean they did a terrible job. If you’re into your car and want a good job done save your money bruh. Just wow!

I got a gift card back in January, went there after and they had a mechanical breakdown, next time I go they are doing renovations. Today I go and it's out if business, hope the new owners honor the gift card.. other locations seemed to be closed as well.

For $42 all I got was a quick vacuum and wash. Highly recommend USA car wash on Main Street in Danbury over this location. For the same price they wash your mats, use leather products on seats, and armor all interior for the same price. I could have spent $10 on a wash and vacuumed it for free.

Went to this car wash early in the day. Only one worker available and they were in a rush so they did not dry my car well. Also the car wash itself was not very effective. For a $23 exterior wash, I do not want to still see dirt on my windows and tires and dust on the back of my car. I also inquired about an interior cleaning but the gentleman told me those individuals did not start working until 9:00 which was not for another 20 minutes after my wash. I went here because of its convenience for me this morning but will not be returning. Update April 2025: I took Jesus up on his offer for a free car wash and was not disappointed. Jesus and his team did an awesome job on my vehicle and were courteous and professional. Went above and beyond with the wash and did an amazing job cleaning the inside as well. I definitely recommend Fred's Car Wash and will be stopping by again to have a wash.

They don’t clean the lower part of the doors or any other part that’s over 2 ft tall my tires and rims were horrible REALLY BAD JOB AND I ASK FOR THE BEST WASH THEY HAVE ( see receipt with pictures

I am a member of the monthly subscription club which is convenient and reasonably priced. It is a good car wash but it is just like most automatic car washes I would not recommend them if you are perfectionist about your car. I personally only take my daily driver here.

Idea of cleaning the windshield was told to use the windshield wipers. They dry your car with a dirty rag. The car came out with dirt i had to wipe it down again. The rims brake dust all over them I had to clean them by hand. This is not the first time I brought in 5 cars in the last 2 days which all have the monthly plans. Or should I say used to I plan on canceling them tonight. This morning I brought in a brand new car 2 months old came out with spits all over the chrome and rims. I do not have a monthly plan on this one I paid $15 for just the outside I should have went to sparkles on main Street and paid the $15 there which includes interior as well. I plan on switching all my cars to the other carwash first thing in the am. Yes longer wait but I have to protect my investment as well. My recommendation to the owner hire staff that care and maybe you will get more business. Recommendation to other consumers stay away. Not worth the $$$
