Can't say enough good about Fred. My father had been quoted $800 to fix the ac in his motor home. I took it to Fred and rather than assume that it needed a new compressor he took the time to trouble shoot the system and found a leak. Fixed me up for a fraction of the cost. Great job.

Just returned from Fred’s A/C and Heating. What great guys. Took my truck in, they diagnosed the problem, quoted me a price and then fix the A/C in my 2004 Silverado. I was more then overjoyed. I had been jerked around by Browns in Kingsport for several months. By the time I got am appointment, no one showed. Do yourself a favor and call Fred’s. A/C went out in my 2017 Silverado, which is very common for these, they have bad condensers. Got me in when they said, fixed it the next day, super friendly and fair price. Highly recommend, don’t waste your time or money going to your dealer, see Fred instead !

Did a great job.Car was fixed the next day. Price was as quoted beforehand. was Easy going and friendly. Very Satisfied! I came to Fred's because word is he is one of the best in the area. I was surprised and cannot believe someone would give a mechanic who did a good job 3 stars simply because they didn't come across as friendly! You never know what someone is going through,how busy they are,etc.

I was having problems with my AC and took it to Firestone where they told me I’d need a whole new ac system and quoted me over 3k. Took it to Fred’s for a second opinion and he told me it only needed Freon and refilled it for me and it’s been working great since! Saved me so much money and was honest about the issue. Highly recommend!
