I took my vehicle to this shop hoping for them to fix the problems I have been having for some time now and turns out that they fixed some of the problems and totally over looked the other issues the was completely noticeable. I told them if it's anything you see that needs to be replaced just do it . I also asked them to replace my front and rear brakes and rotors they didn't do anything to the front only the back. I said that I drive my kid in this car and need it to be safe they words was its fine if you need them to be done come back next time . Needless to say this shop over charge me for half the work

Obvious experts in Subaru. Huge diversity of services offered for both stock and modified cars. Good diagnoses and recommendations on needed maintenance and/or repairs. I had my 2018 STI inspected after purchasing and FW inspected everything quickly and installed new brakes, spark plugs, major fluids, and 60,000 maintenance schedule in two days no appointment needed. Both Max and Paul had good communication regarding the work being done and always emailed quotes before any work was performed. Car runs like a dream now.

Max and the team really know their stuff—had new O-rings installed on the fuel pump, replaced shocks, brakes, rotors, did full fluid flushes, and more. I highly recommend FW Motorsports to anyone needing work on their vehicle. They fixed my air conditioner same day. The blower motor had died on my Subaru Impreza, and, in addition to replacing the motor and another small part, they replaced all the fluids and installed a new filter. Some of this work was at my discretion and cost $950. The minute I turned on my AC, cold air blew out. I clearly had been dealing with tepid air for a long time! Their customer service with Autumn at the front desk is second to none. My car has served me well for 13 years, so I consider this money well spent.

This is the best Subaru shop I have ever been to. Max and his staff are very professional and do reliable work. I have had my 2007 STI since...2007 and been to a few shops in the decades in between. None had matched the professionalism and passion FW has. I recently had a fairly catastrophic engine mishap earlier this year and brought my car in for repairs. Turns out I needed a complete rebuild/replacement of the long block. Max and his team have given new life into an old soul. Since then, I have been getting some other things replaced that I was putting off before the incident, and the results have been fantastic. If you live in the greater Sac area, there is no other place you should bring your Subaru or other Japanese car other than FW. The best of the best!

If you own a Subaru, you really shouldn't be taking it anywhere else. Max and his team are phenomenal. They are fairly priced, transparent, really care about you and your car for the long haul, and are as helpful and friendly as you could ask for. They're also honest about the urgency of repairs needed. They don't try to startle you into dumping a bunch of money into your car. They tell you what's really necessary and what can wait. That alone stands out to me as something you don't see in most of the auto repair field. I will also mention that I am a woman, since it can usually be rough for us to find mechanics that aren't taking advantage of us. You won't regret trusting these guys with your car!
