I needed a bearing replaced, and after getting a really expensive quote from a chain garage, I went looking for a more affordable option. I texted Garage on wheels, and they offered me a reasonable price. I really liked the convenience of a mechanic who could come to me instead of me having to go to a garage. I was working from home, so I did not have to miss any work or travel to get my car fixed. Also, the mechanic worked quickly and he showed me the work he was doing. He answered questions and was honest about the repair work. Garage on wheels provided me with fast, convenient, and friendly service at a fair price. I see some negative comments about their use of text. I don't think their use of text is inherently bad service. It is just different. However, it works well. If you have preference for immediate in-person or phone service, then choose a business that meets your preferences. I thought they did a great job using text to learn what repairs I needed, to schedule the appointment, and to keep me updated. Mobile car repair is a fantastic idea and Garage on Wheels does it well.

My car died a few miles from my house. They accepted the job and gave me a time 2 days out. I got across town to meet them at their quoted time. Then they never showed and didn't respond to text or a call, so I wasted 4 hours waiting and then had to get a tow anyways - I could have done that 3 days ago. I can't speak to the quality of thier work or prices, but I *can* tell you there's a possibility they waste your time. Happy to change this review if there's an apology, decent excuse, and promise of some compensatory, maybe discounted service in the future so I can actually assess their work.

Highly recommend. He was super professional and got our brakes done in a timely manner as well as our rotors and calipers. He also got the parts delivered when we were in a crunch for time and needed to get home, while still being more than fair with pricing. Overall amazing service, definitely earned a loyal customer.

I contacted them in the early evening, I got a return text (to my text) within 2 hours with a quote and an available time slot the next day. I ended up going a different route however. But because of their prompt response with a quote and time, I give them 5 ⭐️s for how they served me. I can’t review their work however, but the price was quoted for the total job and I appreciated that. With speedy response I would say they’re ambitious to get your work. And you won’t even have to leave your house.👍

I recently had a wheel hub/bearing that needed replacementon my 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander. I contacted Garage on Wheels and the mechanic was very responsive by text, answered all my questions, and gave me a fair price for the repair. The work was done fast and I haven't had any problems since. I'm very happy with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Garage on Wheels to anyone needing car repair!

Great shop, super fast and great pricing! If you need something looked at and fixed, this is your place. I brought my truck in because it was running a little funny. He could have replaced a bunch of stuff and charged me several hundreds (I thought fuel pump or coil pack). He looked everything over really well, tighten battery cables(I'm an idiot haha), gave me a small list of things that could be done/were done. Small charge and truck runs great. 100% recommend to friends and family and anyone that wants to listen. This is my garage from now on!

I cannot say enough good things about this interaction. Randy was great with communicating quickly with us. He was personable, kind and knowledgeable. With our situation, he could have easily told us to get a tow and that he would need to fix the entire trailer axel and bearings... we could have ended up spending alot of money and time doing both of these things. We were stuck in duluth and just needed to get back to the Anoka/ the cities (2 hrs south) where we would have the tools to do a major repair. So, after some texting inquiring about the problem, and explaining our needs, he was open to interested in helping us find a way to do this and willing to stop by and check it out. He had the equipment we needed within his mobile service truck and was able to figure it out and we were back on our way within an hour!! He saved us 180 dollar tow AND "a few hundred dollars" quoted by other mobile services I had called. We were so thankful for him. What a great idea of service that he started and runs himself! So helpful. Price was definitely reasonable and I was happy to pay for his excellent service and support his business plus a tip because he deserved it! Thanks again and take care, Randy! A pleasure meeting. Always refreshing to find a trustworth mechanic to have in your back pocket! Wish you were in the cities- I'd have your number on speed-dial! (But I was glad you were in duluth when we were having our trouble!!)

Would not recommend to anybody I know. Asked for a quote and was told they could do the job in the next few days, never heard back after a week. I reach out after the week to see if they could still do the job. They responded saying yes and never heard back again for the second time. Terrible communication and time wasted.
