To know Gary is to love Gary. By now you’ve seen all his five star reviews and wonder if what you’ve read is factual. I’m here to tell you that every five star has merit and the words about his character ring true. I too was once brought to Gary’s Body Shop by the stellar reviews. I had the pleasure of knowing Gary as a mechanic first and now happily count him family. He is consistent, humble, ethical, hard-working, and endearing. His shop is always clean, meticulously organized, and well ran. Gary and Steve’s (his shop employee) work are always guaranteed and expertly done. His prices are honest, and his work is highly praised for a reason; you’ll never catch him trying to add services that you don’t need. The shop is small and it’s a local business, so supporting it makes sense. He does a good job of managing my expectations of deadlines and work is completed on time. Gary’s expertise, kindness, and friendliness are what continue to keep me as a loyal customer to this day. You don’t need a nice mechanic, but you have one in Gary. Nice guys tend to finish last in this world, but Gary doesn’t mind. His values and his integrity keep business steady and a smile upon his face. Gary has repaired my 1997 Jaguar XK8 several times over 11 years. Twice it was hit while parked. Great job matching the paint. Also great bodywork. Finally decided to get the whole car repainted. The price was great and the result is unbelievable. 24 year old car with 381,000 miles looks as good as new. Not only have I always got a great price, but most important fantastic results. Uses quality materials.

I have gotten estimates from multiple places, and out of all the places I have gone to Gary’s Body Shop, Inc provided the most reasonable estimate. Gary inspected my car and wrote down all the materials and what needed to be done to fix the damage to my car. He is friendly to speak with and very professional. He did not have that pushy sales attitude and just presented and explained what and why the estimate is how it is. It was estimated to be a week that my car will be finished. Gary also mentioned that when I am ready to reach back out to him so he can start ordering the necessary parts for my vehicle. I felt good with my interaction with Gary’s Body Shop, so I decided to go with his business. Three days later I received an all from Gary informing me that my car was completed. I was surprised as he originally stated that it will be done by Friday. He completed the repair on Thursday (3 days later). I went to pick up my car and I had my mother give me a ride. When we saw the car, we could not believe our eyes. My mom immediately took a picture and sent it to my stepdad, and he asked if it was my car (lol). The workmanship of Gary and his team is outstanding. My car looks like how it did when I first got it. I highly recommend Gary’s Body Shop, Inc in Clearwater if you ever need any body work on your vehicle. I read in the review someone mentioned, “knowledge of how to treat a customer” is on point! Genuinely nice guy and he even offered for my mother and I to hangout in his office while he does a few finishing touches to my car. He even removed the sticky goo left on my windshield by a (cheap) cell phone holder. He did not have to do that, but it is the little things like that showed how much he cares and passionate he is with his work.
