My dad took his car in last Monday. They told him they would call him back. Three days later, no call back. We finally had to call and got no answers besides he didn’t have an appointment, so they had to squeeze him in when they could. Why was he not told that when he dropped the car off? Then, several days later, they actually came and picked him up and brought him to the service center just to tell him his car wasn’t ready and they brought him back home. So, I finally called again today, 7 days later to get transferred around and directed to a place to leave a message. I called back and finally got the service advisor who said the car would be ready today and they would call as soon as it’s ready. I guess I will believe it when it happens. Communication has been non-existent to horrible here. After this experience, we will never use Gateway again. I hope the car gets fixed properly. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I bought a new Hyundai Sonata in March 2025. Absolutely love the car ! This is my 54th car so I have loads of memories and experiences to compare. Great car, smooth handling, terrific gas mileage with 43 mpg on highway and not a hybrid. Took the car in to Gateway Hyundai for an oil change and tire rotation on Weds. My appointment was for 1:00 and I got there 10 minutes early. It took the mechanic 30 minutes and I was on my way. The service writer explained everything that was looked at by the mechanic and my car was given the green light to go back on the road. I was able to wait for my car in a very nice, clean waiting area with great lighting, snacks, and beverages. It was a pleasure to work with Gateway Hyundai and I will be happy to return for maintenance repairs again.

BEWARE- DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GATEWAY HYUNDAI I brought my elderly mother’s car in for service, and Gateway told us it needed a new engine. Even though the engine is under warranty, then Hyundai Motors DENIED the replacement of the engine due to “Excessive Maintenance Neglect.” In response, I provided pages upon pages of maintenance records. The service manager Kyle Deikmann even told me we had more records than anyone else has ever given. I repeatedly asked for the exact photos, diagnostics, and a clear explanation of what specific “maintenance gaps” they were claiming. Gateway and its employees refused to provide all the photos and diagnostic documentation. When I went in to speak with the shop director Luke Bentley and two other shop managers (Kyle and Aja) , I was thrown out of the office simply for asking for the photos and diagnostics—after I filed a BBB report that Hyundai Motor America told me to file. Meanwhile, my elderly mother still cannot get her car fixed and is struggling to get to her doctor appointments, so we are now in a lawsuit. Gateway has been unprofessional, rude, and non-transparent. Consider this a WARNING before doing business there.

LC Arthur was our salesman. We found a car we wanted and just decided to take one more stop and look at a palisade at Gateway. We got there and it was cold. LC pulled the car into the heated service area so we could get a good look at it. He was very thorough showing us every option that the car had. We took a test drive and came back and he went through many more options. Because he was so thorough and shared the benefits to this car, we left and both decided that was the car we wanted. Lc has also been more than helpful when I have had questions or problems since. Gateway was willing to deal on the price a little bit which is very important to my husband and quite rare these days.
