Would NOT recommend this shop! George gave me a verbal estimate and a 3 month completion on my truck! He ended up taking 6+ months and tried to charge me 10 times the estimate!

Without a lot of fanfare, George said he could do the job, and he did!  He answered my questions, the price was fair and he knocked out a full front and rear end break-job, transmission fluid & filter change and battery replacement in one day flat. I have been searching for a new place to take my vehicles to for their needed repairs, since my mechanic of the past 20 years retired.  So far, I've been through 2 small businesses, 1 medium size shop and 1 dealership.  George is my 5th option and I have a good feeling that this will be my final stop on the merry-go-round. I am really happy with his work on my Jeep.  It drove out of his shop smooth and quiet today.  It hasn't done that in a few years!  :) UPDATE: I took my truck into him for some AC repairs and he did a fantastic job with this, too! 5 stars! :)

I hate to leave a bad review, single proprietor shops should be supported, but: I took my car to George for some work he said he could do and I was given a "loose verbal estimate" of around $250-300 + cost of an alignment. This estimate was very similar to ones I received from 3 other places. I chose George's because he's close to my house and a nice guy to talk to. My car was done within 2 days, and I was given a ride to my house twice which is awesome, but the alignment wasn't completed since his machine was down so I expected to be charged near my estimate. I had received no calls or anything indicating any issues. Final bill? $1000. I can understand an estimate coming in a little low, but the final bill being 4x the initial estimate with no heads up or approval is highway robbery. All that was done was creating a 3ft section of dual exhaust to connect a pre-built direct fit kit to my headers, welding exhaust connections, welding 2 hangers to the tailpipes, and eyeballing a very basic alignment. A shop I took my car to afterwards confirmed they would have charged less than half. ::Edit:: Been fighting exhaust leaks, turns out he didn't even install a collector gasket on the passenger side.
