Tom and Craig take business seriously. Despite their thoroughness and high quality repairs, they charge a lot less than typical dealer shops do. If a design is defective out of the manufacturer (such as a poor muffler clamp) they will do extra welding to reinforce it so it does not break again. My most recent visit was to have a rapidly worsening leak in my Silverado's transmission cooler lines repaired. While they were inspecting the truck, they found a potential safety hazard--the power steering cooler was rotted out and it carries the brake fluid, so a loss of pressure would mean a loss of brakes--not a good thing to happen on a commercial duty truck! I had them repair both, plus they quickly found out the cause of an engine stalling problem--a broken ground strap from the engine block to frame--and fixed it. Initially, the total cost was a little rough to handle, but when I looked over the invoice, I realized that so many things added up and none of them were unreasonably priced. Gil's is a bit of a drive for me, but I don't trust anyone else to work on my vehicles.

Gil's was recommended to us as the repair shop who'd assuredly be able to take care of us when our car broke down. Our mechanic Craig truly held up to the recommendation. He was very genuine and professional, his main concern wasn't getting our business, but rather helping us get what we needed. He was very open about the quote assessment process and had an incredible turnaround time for services. We ended up getting both our daily driver and our person cargo van serviced by him because of his amazing work ethic. Can't sing Craig's praises enough.

Unsure who I spoke with but they were super helpful to check my tire pressures as I was experiencing a faulty sensor alert and wanted to ensure no leaks.
