Delivery/work van disregards traffic laws and recklessly flys through school zones. Horrible reflection on the company and it's employees

My service was outstanding from start to finish. I worked with the account manager Gary, Whitney for scheduling, and Danny P was the service tech. The communication and service throughout the experience was excellent.

My windshield replacement technician Brian was fantastic. To start, I was contacted the day before I was supposed to get my windshield replaced and they said the new one they had was defective and they had ordered a new one for the day after my original appointment. My scheduled time was 2-4pm and Brian showed up at 1:25 and was done by 2:15. Turns out my vehicle is more difficult than the usual windshield but Brian was able to work around the issues and get the windshield set in no time. He was also friendly and communicated well. Thanks Glass America

Although I had issues, Peter (sales rep) was friendly and professional until he washed his hands of the issues. Before installation I inquired to be sure a deal brand windshield would be used and was told it would be. When the installer (Kevin) was on the way and told me to leave my key in the unlocked car, I responded I’m home, just let me know you’re here and I’ll be glad to hand you the key. He never came to the door but sent the calibrator, Jon, for the cameras so I never spoke to the installer directly. I randomly get a text asking me to sign about the finished installation. I walked outside because I wanted to see it was done before signing anything blindly & both guys were behind their vehicle & a calibrator hooked up to my car. So I went ahead & signed (shame on me) & went back inside. Jon, who was great all the way around & a good communicator, let me know that he was getting ready to take the car for a drive to test the camera calibration. He brought my key back to the door and left. So finally I head to the car to look & I noticed a huge mess of sand & debris all over the dash, floor & radio/map screen. After cleaning up his mess I thought to look at the VW stamp on the windshield & saw the non-dealer brand stamped windshield. I got out of the car and walked around to take a picture of it & then I noticed how sloppy the glue was on the passenger side and wasn’t on the driver side. This is when I decided to text Peter the sales rep and let him know FYI it wasn’t a VW brand and wasn’t sure why the black sealant looked so sloppy on one side and sent him pics (didn’t even mention the sand mess). He ended up apologizing saying the work wasn’t acceptable and he was opening a complaint to the warranty dept. I told him I appreciated it and explained the lack of face-to-face interaction with the installer or I would have addressed it then. He said &I quote “I understand you completely you gave every right. Unlike Safelite, we go directly to the manufacturer of the car to get the glass so it top of the line glass not that cheap stuff. But everything else will be taken care of once again my apologies for there work”. The next day I got a call to schedule a re-install, but had to wait another day to confirm the VW brand windshield to find out insurance didn’t approve the brand name. It is what it is just don’t tell a client it will be if you don’t know) The following my insurance company called wanting a picture of the damage. I said the damaged windshield was already replaced & that this is supposed to be a warranty to fix the sloppy work but they said the glass company was trying to make another claim. I reached out to Peter to let him know I'm not making another claim on insurance for poor workmanship & that if that is the only way they can correct their work then unscheduled me. He replied he would reach out to the shop again & tell them nothing further is needed. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I would have left it alone and was only trying to notify the sales rep so he knew but his instancy to stand behind the work was great service, until they couldn’t get more money out of insurance.

I had a disappointing experience with the installation service. Not only did they break my rearview mirror and fail to compensate me for a replacement, but the glass they installed also cracked just three months later after being hit by a small roadstone at a low speed. I reached out to them and they want another $450 to replace it.

If you want to wait a month to get your glass done, call these people. Because they are absolutely terrible. Right on returning phone calls and setting appointments

Danny and Glass America are quick and efficient replacing my windshield within 1-2hrs. Hopefully my windshield doesn’t get damaged again, but if does I’ll be calling them again because I know they’ll get it done!!
