I would avoid this place. I initially brought my Jeep in due to smoke coming from the exhaust at startup (accompanied by a burnt plastic smell), a stop/start system engine light, and issues with the engine overheating. Unfortunately, $700 later and the service I received here did not resolve the problem. The car continued to present the same symptoms just hours after I picked it up. I was also told by the technician—after I had already paid—that replacing the spark plugs “may or may not fix the issue.” This should have been communicated before any work was performed. I reached out hoping they would try to make the situation right, but they didn’t. All around very disappointing.

I had been going to this shop for a year because it was recommended to me in a Facebook group and all the reviews are great, so I trusted them. The more I went the more they grew less kind and more eager to rush me out (and I have been a good customer to them and also recommended them to so many people). With the exception of my first time going and interacting with CC, the mechanics kinda seemed annoyed that I was asking questions, and I do not like that. I went to pick up last time, and they told me over the phone to get a new car because it wouldn't last more than five years (which I'm already aware of, but just want it to be good enough to get me where I need to be until I can afford a new one), but then they would not tell me anything else. I was kinda at a loss for what to do for a minute until someone recommended a more established mechanic, that can actually handle the amount of clientele they receive, and told me to get an inspection to make sure the work I did get done on my car was done correctly. I just went to this new mechanic today, and they took pictures of everything wrong with my car and explained to me the cost of fixing it as well as how long it could wait, without seeming annoyed at me for having questions. These other mechanics even used some sort of app/website and took pictures of everything wrong and did a very thorough inspection (for free) and they cost a little bit less than this shop, which surprised me. Also, the things which Good Judy's verbally told me were okay with my car were actually mega messed up, and the things they said were problems didn't appear to be problems. I really hate to say it because I wanted to continue trusting this business, but I just can't bring my car here anymore. Now I wish this business well, but I just wanted to put this out there so that people could make slightly more informed decisions. Sometimes outcomes are more important than word on the street.

I was hoping for Good Judy to be a shop I take my vehicle for repairs I can’t handle on my own, but at this point I don’t trust them to correctly diagnose issues and provide an adequate fix in a timely manner. I brought my car in for what I believed to be a failing torque converter, which I discussed with them on the phone. I dropped it off for the diagnostic and didn’t hear anything for almost two weeks. After reaching out via email and text they sent me the diagnostic which was simply to replace the spark plugs. That’s not even remotely related to the problem I brought it in for, and was something I was already aware needed fixing. I trust others have had a good experience, but in my opinion this shop may not be suited to more complicated repairs and may be dealing with a larger volume than they can handle. Hope for the best but don’t be surprised if you have to go elsewhere.

Phenomenal! I’ve been putting up with non transparent dealerships and Good Judy’s folks were very kind, and explained everything to help me understand what might be going on. Throughout conversations in the office, one person said I wish the dealership would have told me this. I will return here again and it restored my faith with getting my car taken care of when something comes up. Thank you SO much Good Judy crew.

Just book your appointment! What people are saying is true, such a respectful, informative, and kind auto shop! They are always upfront with pricing and all. Grace is so sweet and helpful, and the mechanic I had, Nayeli, was absolutely amazing and you can tell they put love into their work 🥰🫶🏼 the waiting area is cute and comfy as well. I used to go to my uncle for all car things back home, since moving it’s been hard to find a good shop I trust - I’ve never felt so safe and comfortable at a mechanic! 5 stars for customer service and how quick and efficient they are. My only complaint, I don’t love how busy they are. When I need a repair It can be hard to wait two weeks to get seen. I will definitely be going back again!

Update: Still a fantastic place to get my car worked on! I have come back multiple times and always get great service on my vehicle, honest info and advice and really lovely community. I’m so happy Good Jody exists. 💕🌈 Great service, affordable and transparent pricing, and a great waiting space with comfortable, clean furniture, snacks and coffee. I’ve heard good things about Good Judy for a few years and finally had some money to get a much-needed alignment, so I booked an appointment and am very pleased with my experience! The service was very reasonably priced and was performed in a timely manner, and the shop and waiting room were very welcoming, cute and comfortable. Our truck is driving much better now haha! I appreciated being asked my pronouns upon booking and it was very nice to know I’d be welcome and safe at a car shop, which in my previous experience hasn’t always been the case. I’ll definitely be booking my future work here! Thank you folks for the excellent service!

Best experience at a mechanic/auto shop ever! Pricing was perfect and laid out for me, the service was incredibly fast, and I am very satisfied. The people are so kind and helpful. I’ve been taking my car to Good Judy for years and I have never had a negative experience. They are always transparent, kind, and extremely helpful. Holy fantastic auto shop Batman! This garage is run by the best people, they have amazing turnaround times and great customer service- far more effective and helpful than ANY OTHER MECHANIC I’ve ever seen or had to take my car to. Bravo! Special shout out to my man Chuck with the ninja mechanic skills, and his amazing work that pairs well with his chill demeanor and can do attitude. Best mechanic ever! Absolutely great mechanic shop!! As a queer woman not super knowledge about cars, I am always nervous a mechanic is trying to overcharge or take advantage of me, but Good Judy Garage has made me feel so comfortable. I have used them for a year and a half and had nothing but good experiences. They are very kind and take the time to explain what is wrong with my old Subaru. I never feel pressured to fix things that aren't a safety hazard. The shop has consistently taken time to diagnose problems. CC replaced a part but the light was still on. She did a full day curtesy inspection and then warranted and replaced the part again. She fit me in before moving and driving a lot which was so appreciated. I find the pricing transparent, the waiting room so clean and comfortable and the teams knowledge and work great.

Highly recommend this shop! Staff is very friendly, waiting room has comfy chairs/couches and they even have snacks! They also have a small local artist shop to browse. I have only had oil changes and tire rotation/balance but both appointments were fast and the price was much better than even the quick lube places. They also seem incredibly honest, it’s the first time I haven’t felt pressured to do a bunch of other unnecessary services. Love a Good Judy!!!

I absolutely love this place and can’t stop recommending it to everyone I know! I used to dread going to get my car worked on because I knew I was likely to be talked down to or talked into something I didn’t need and paying a ton of money in the process. I’ve only had good experiences at Good Judy and it makes what can be a stressful situation so much easier. I always feel like I’m paying a reasonable amount. My favorite part is how each technician takes the time to sit down and talk you through how the service went and any recommendations they have for what else might need to be done. I never feel like they are trying to talk me into something that’s unnecessary. Do yourself a favor and take your car here!

Amazing experience! It was my first appointment and I'm switching mechanics to Good Judy Garage! Right away, I got fair recommendations by Grace for the oil change. Then I was taken care of by Chuck who carefully listened to the additional things I wanted to be looked at. I sat in a cozy waiting area (with tea, wifi, and other customers who were knitting and crocheting 🧶😊), and didn't even have to wait that long. The work was well done and fast, Chuck came to share honest diagnostic and recommendations, and I'm booked for my second appointment. I wish they also did body work, I want to have all my car needs take care of here. Thank you for such great service!

There is no better place in all of Denver and surrounding areas to get your vehicle taken care of!! I refuse to go anywhere else. They are all so sweet. It’s a warm and welcoming waiting room. They are priced fair and never try to oversell you. They are genuine, honest people who don’t try to take advantage of you for having a lack of auto knowledge. I feel safe and trust their expertise, pricing, and recommendations. Truly the BEST place to take your vehicle!!
