I went to this tire shop a few weeks back for a simple wheel wheel balance. The work itself was fine and it fixed my issue. However the customer service and timeliness of the appointment was poor. I made an appointment online and showed up at my appointment time. I was originally quoted 1.5 hours for the service which usually takes around 45 minutes. However, the man in front told me “some technicians take longer”. At this point there were like 2 other people waiting in the lounge. When I returned 1.5 hours later after dinking around the nearby area, they had not even started to work on my car. The man working the front desk was giving me some super shady reasons as to why they hadn’t started working on my car. And he said it would be another 20-30 minutes before their “best technician” who is “really good” could start on it. I was visibly irritated with this response and he was able to find someone else to do the service. Once that guy started he took about 45 minutes to do the wheel balance. And then by the time I was going to pay there was a huge crowd of people in the lounge and I had to wait another 20 minutes to pay. Overall, I waited 3 hours for my car to get a 45 minute service when I had a scheduled appointment. As I paid, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the dishonesty of the quoted wait time and I was very much dismissed by the person working the front. So just know that this shop does not honor appointments and you might as well double the wait time they give you because they are not straightforward about how busy they really are!!!! I get if they can’t control how busy they are based on walk ins, but at the very least they should be prioritizing appointments first and being honest about wait times so that customers can plan their time accordingly.

Terrible experience. Even with multiple appointments, changing just 2 front tires took from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. One mechanic was rude and told me to move my car after the receptionist told me to park there. I had to come back 3 times in 3 days just to get my tires shipped because of the receptionist’s negligence. Very disorganized, unprofessional, and disappointing service.

Best tire repair and new tire shop in San Francisco. Same day, even same hour turnaround. Really helpful front desk. And totally reasonable prices.

Long story short, I would say keep your flexible schedule (it’s a small shop and it depends on how many customers are already there) and give this place a chance. I had bumped into a curb in the morning and suddenly the low tire pressure light came on. I stopped by the store and voiced my worries about my car with Luna (the sales associate) as I was 30 minutes away from home and didn’t want to run into any issues on the highway. I also wanted a set of new tires as it was time for new ones. It seemed quite busy but she gave me an estimate on 1-2 hrs. I had my dog with me and took a walk around (Luna gave me directions to a close park and there’s plenty of stores walking distance ~.8 miles). After an hour, Luna called me with an update and mentioned they found 2 of my tire pressure sensors to be broken/dead. I opted to add fixing all 4 tire pressure sensors. I was in no rush to get anywhere and ended up back in the lobby. Another customer was having an issue with their quote. Luna wanted a confirmation on the wheel alignment and it appears to be some sort of miscommunication and the store had him down for a different service he didn’t agree to that wasn’t the price he previously agreed on with a different sales associate. This customer was already frustrated at the long wait time and raised his voice and said some unkind things. As a bystander, I understand both sides and the customer is upset and I felt that Luna did explain the miscommunication well and offered a discount that she could give. I thought Luna handled the situation well. Reading the other comments, some people had great experience and some didn’t. I got what I needed and had a great communication with Luna.

I was trying to save myself time by getting tires at Goodyear instead of Costco, due to the overcrowding at Costco when you need a tire rotation. They said my tires did not need to be rotated, and they did find a nail which they took out and repaired. They finished my car and took it off the rack, but I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get checked out. Then the checkout time took another 5 to 10 minutes and I had to go to the restroom really bad. I don’t think I saved much time! And at Costco at least I can shop the store and use the bathroom while I’m waiting. They should think about having another person if I take them that long to do all the front desk work. And the steering wheel was sticky covered with black grease. Took 5 wipes to get it all off. Car smelled like cigarettes and the fragrance used to cover up cigarettes. They should open the window when they’re driving it.

This is my second time buying tires here, and I have to say, Andy is fantastic. He brings back that good old-fashioned customer care, treating everyone like a friendly neighbor. It really makes a difference!

This was my second visit to this location as it is close to home. This visit I came in for a simple nail removal from a tire. The first thing the technician said after checking the tires, was “not sure the nail can be removed, as your tire tread is splitting” or something like that. I had just had my service done at the dealership prior to this and was not told anything remotely close to his evaluation, thus I felt he was trying to get me to purchase new tires. Additionally, as other reviewers indicated, they don’t give a darn about your time. I was told the removal would be completed at a certain time (12:30) as I had mentioned I had an appointment for 1p. My car was completed after 1p. There was never a check-in with me regarding the progress until it was noticed I was becoming annoyed, nor an apology for the time it took. Sadly, I should have followed my first mind by going somewhere else. So long Goodyear Daly City, never again!

Scheduled tire replacement via Amazon. Friendly service desk and great service all around. They get busy, so it's best to schedule ahead of time if you can.

Yesterday, I brought my vehicle to your shop due to a punctured tire. After a short wait, the attendant informed me that there were two punctures: one near the edge of the tire (which you claimed was unrepairable), and the other was allegedly unrepairable because I had attempted to fix it myself. I then spoke directly to the technician and explained that I had only inserted the same nail back into the tire (after removing it) so I could drive safely to your shop. I had not actually completed a repair—my rubber plug kit never even penetrated the tire. Despite this, I was told a new tire was necessary, so I declined the service and left. Today, I brought my car to a different repair shop just about a mile away. I explained everything and asked them to inspect the tire. Two hours later, they called me back and said the tire was already repaired. They found that: The puncture on the edge did not go all the way through the tire. The second puncture was completely repairable, despite my partial attempt to fix it. I'm very thankful for their competent service and thorough inspection—something I had hoped to receive at your shop. I hope Goodyear considers placing more focus on accurate diagnostics rather than immediately recommending costly replacements. Not all customers are trying to cut corners—some of us simply want an honest evaluation.

Brian and everyone I had a chance to talk with at Goodyear are all knowledgeable of the services they provide, very pleasant to talk with, & honest when dealing with customers. They problem solved with me when I’m having scheduling issues. Taught me that I can insure a wheel bought somewhere else, and I also got a significant discount. Oh, and they offer a 3-year wheel alignment for a very reasonable price especially for a Tesla. I’m definitely going to use their services for my other vehicle. - Jeff

Took 8 hours to change two tires. Overcharges for lug nuts (5 bucks at store they charge 14 a piece). The staff complains when too many people come in and they tried to charge me for “extra labor” to take off 5 lug nuts, my dad did it in less than 5 minutes. They also ask about insurance in case they damage your car, corporations should be insured not us. Just go anywhere else.

Having a tire problem can be a huge headache—not only can it be costly, but it is inherently an added stress that nobody wants in their day. I visited this shop in Daly City because it was the first place that popped in my Google Maps when I searched "tire repairs near me". It was a foggy drizzly Daly City morning and I was already late for an important meeting across the Bay. I am lucky that I ended up here. Felicia, the lady at the counter, is the most patient person you could ever get help from. I threw a curb ball at her with my car being a fleet car that was pretty hard to navigate. Not only did Felicia take the time to understand the policy that l had to stay within in obtain a repair or a tire replacement, she took it upon herself to talk to my vehicle management unit person (on speaker) and to reach out to other GoodYears who'd dealt with my fleet in the past to figure out how to help me. She was simply amazing and made what could have been a much more complicated matter—and a potentially unpleasant matter too, a total pleasure of a human experience. Thank you Felicia. Your shop deserves all the business it can get because you run it with a care and professionalism that are rare to find these days. 5 star experience all around. Thank you!!!

Felicia and Luba were awesome…once again! In fact, as a US veteran, Felicia informed me of a program and provided the phone number for products exclusively for veterans. Purchasing the tires from that program saved me $700! Unbelievable service, integrity and genuine concern by these superb Goodyear representatives. They directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Goodyear brand.

I had a great experience at the Goodyear Auto Service Center, and I especially want to recognize Felicia for going above and beyond to help me get four new tires. From start to finish, she was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. Felicia explained everything clearly and made sure I understood my options without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. I was on the fence between two different tire choices, and she took the time to walk me through the differences and helped me decide on the best tire for my needs. Her guidance made the whole process easy and stress-free. If you’re looking for great service and someone who truly cares, ask for Felicia — she’s the best!

Despite Amazon not notifiting me that replacing 1 tire on an all wheel drive bmw was impossible and allowing me to book service for single tire replacement anyways at good year, the experience at good year was great. When I had to pick up my tire at the Daly City good year location I was greeted by lovely Leticia. So informative and nice. Even though this situation with my tire sucked due to bad info from Amazon making me have to shave my new tire down to match the tread on my other tires, Leticia at good year and her manager that I spoke to yesterday on the phone, made the experience pleasant and why I am writing a great review. Good work good year tires for hiring these individuals!

I ordered a pair of tires from Amazon and had them installed here. Everything went well from start to finish. The 2 people in the office (Andy & Luba) were very friendly and did not try to upsell. I had a quick chat with the mechanic who pointed out a few things he noticed with my car to keep an eye on. Great experience all in all. Just be aware that you may need to wait for a while (2 hours in my case). There are coffee shops in walking distance, so bring a book to read or some work to do.

I've been taking my 4runner to this shop for many years to get routine oil changes and general maintenance. I got my last two sets of wrangler duratract tires from them as well. My lower control arms were shot, and I had been putting off the replacement work. On my last visit to get an oil change, the manager Felicia told me that their certified mechanics could take care of those suspension components for me. Moments later, I was provided w/ a competitive quote and given ample time to review it. After the team answered a few of my questions, I decided to move forward. They ordered the parts and got moving on it! During the day, I received follow up calls with updates and it ran so smooth. Glad that this shop can take on more complicated tech work. Felicia and her team worked with me to provide the best value. The front staff, techs, and mechanics were extremely professional. While in the waiting area, the complimentary coffee and water is a nice touch. If you can't wait and don't have a ride, then you can walk down to BART or jump on the 14 Mission. Next up - new tires, and an alignment!
