This place is a joke. Ordered parts on Wednesday for pickup on Friday came Friday to find out parts were not taken off then he said he will take them off in an hour no big deal. Went got food and hour later I got a phone call saying how the parts were damaged beyond repair. Wasted my day since I had a 2hr drive there and a 2hr drive back. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

THEIVES AND LIERS!!! Broke down and was promised a part by a certain day, well they didn't pay for guarantee shipping like the said so I'm stuck here for at least an extra 4 day. Was told it was not their fault and laughed at
EDIT: after writing the original post the owner called me after business hours from his personal phone threatening if I didn't take it down I would never see a dime returned for sure

Absolute joke, drove hour and a half away to pick up front end, every part was broken or damaged, shut your doors no need to be open clowns . Attitude? Lmao every part but 1 was broken or damaged, what was you waiting on ? Me to come see broken parts b4 you gave me good ones?? Lol joke of a business

After getting scammed on a Honda Civic i bought, Green Belt auto had all the parts i needed to repair my vehicle and make it operable. They were honest with me from the start and the staff is very personable. I would recommend Green Belt auto 7 days a week 365 days a year. Don’t waste your time with any other salvage yard.

Terrible place to buy auto parts from! They sell broken auto parts and just try to scam you out of your money! They're wishy washy when it comes to their own return policy. They also do not have anything on their walls on the counters etc. Stating that they don't do refunds on car parts that they sell that are already broken unless you pay a restocking fee and also they racially profile people and the owners son is not professional AT ALL! He's very aggressive and is just bad for business!! I would not recommend anyone I know going there! Toledo Auto Parts has the best deals and service if you ask me!

1 star simply because you can't leave 0 if you want to leave a review. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, ANYWHERE ELSE. This place is a scam. Gave one price over the phone just to up the price in person. Lied about the condition of the wheel, said it was in really good condition. Drove there to find it looked beat up and I highly doubt a tire could have been mounted/sealed properly to it. Waste of my time.

Never said anything about a core exchange or charge. Sent drivers 3 hours to pick up a transmission and got surprised. I was told “I’ve been doing this for 30 years” 30 years doesn’t mean you’re good at what you do pal. Will never do business at this place again!

Went here last spring to buy an ECM for my car. They had listings for both the automatic and manual transmission parts, which happen to share the same part No. I asked them SEVERAL times to make sure I was buying the manual transmission ECM. They INSISTED it was in fact the manual one. That's a LIE. I've now found a manual ECM in a u-pull yard, and my check engine light and running condition both gone. Because of green belt, I've lost countless hours of time trying to diagnose my car, and hundreds of dollars in gas due to it getting poor gas milage with the wrong ecm.

I recently bought a part from here. I intended to buy a rear hatch for a wagon. It was available a month before I was planning a drive through Toledo and figured I'd buy it. I called the day before and asked if they still had it. Instead of just saying yes they went into the yard to make sure it was fine. Sadly, a recent windstorm ended the glass and I had to buy the hatch elsewhere. But they went and verified it and saved me a nightmare experience of driving there to find out. While driving back home, I called to see if they had a brake light. They understood my predicament and Z got the part before I arrived. That goes against wrecking yard policies (the place I got the hatch wouldn't take payment over the phone and I had to wait 2 hours for them after driving 2 hours... frustrating, but make people don't show and that's how they roll. For all the people complaining about that policy... it's common). I arrived 15 minutes before closing time on new years eve. They were still open! So many places would close up, but these guys didn't.
Also... they are funny as hell. I wish I could buy from them more often. I enjoy good humor, and they are the funniest people I've heard outside of a comedy club.
Used parts are not guaranteed to work people. That's why they have the part number on them. Many parts need a functioning vehicle to determine that they work, and if they don't, you bring the part back for a refund. Maybe you haven't noticed, but cars in a junkyard are often not what you'd call "functioning". Want a part guaranteed to work... buy new from the dealer. You're rolling the dice when you buy from a wrecker. But the odds are good it'll work out.
