From out of state and looked up an auto shop near me and found this place. I gave them a call because I seen good ratings but when I called the guy who answered was very rude. Would not even go pass the brief interaction we had on the phone. Can only imagine how they treat your car when you're not there if they can treat you the customer rude

Honest, affordable, no-nonsense car repair. Their shop isn't flashy or fancy, and since they only have two bays, they book up quick. But they work quick too, and the work is done well. Most importantly, they're always straight with the customer. They'll always explain exactly what the problem might be and they'll only repair things that actually NEED it. No endless up-selling like some chain shops. Even though their prices are already fair and competitive, they'll also let you know if another shop in the county can do a specific repair, like exhaust or muffler work, for even less. If you're in southern Lancaster, looking for a mechanic you can trust, this is the place to go.

I brought my recently purchased used car in to get it checked out thoroughly, along with a small coolant leak repair. Given the circumstances, they could have easily taken advantage and they didn't. They did the repair perfectly and used quality parts, all at a fair price. The only gripe I have is they wouldn't pick up my call the first time, however, I do have an out-of-state number. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, they probably thought I was a robocall. Overall a great experience.

Went in to get my air conditioning repaired. They said they had to order a control module, a type of control computer. They said I had to leave my car there. Approximately 5 days then they called me and said it was ready and was blowing ice cold air. It's my wife's car when we got it back. 680 some dollars later. The air conditioner operated on and off. And would. And and drove it about 10 to 15 minutes, I took it back to them. They said they checked it out and told me it was the main computer and they could do nothing about it. And I would have to take it to the dealership, they said they would not make any adjustments to my bill because it worked when it left, but It didn't work all the time, just like before.When I took it in beware dealing with these people.I'm very disappointed in their service.Been going there for approximately 5 years. This time for my air conditioner and I still have the same problem. It's still blowing warm air.

Steve (the service manager) is the most fair & honest person I’ve ever met in the automotive business. They diagnose the problem with your vehicle, call you with your options, and get it fixed in a timely manner. EXCELLENT customer service, EXCELLENT mechanics. I recommend Groffs to anyone.
