Terrible service, I took a girl to have the transmission put in and they told me that they could fix it and it took 2 months and I ended up paying 7 thousand, almost for a new transmission.

The long-haired guy with a long beard who acted as a service rep was rude, arrogant and attempted to bully this customer. He initially challenged my diagnosis of the problem only to to walk it back when he discovered I was correct. He insisted that he use a top of the line part and scoffed when I pointed out a less expensive one was available at an auto parts store within walking distance of the shop. I add that the car is 14 years old with 200,000 miles. Knowing I had no transportation, he insisted I would have to bring the part to him; otherwise he would use the one he wanted, at more than twice the price ($128.00 on sale price vs. $318.00 = $ 190.00). I'll not be a return customer.

Buz and his team always do a great job for us. Very quick turn around as well. Buz is a Ford Bronco Aficionado as I like to call him. He helped get my son’s Bronco up and rolling.

We brought an employee's truck to this shop. Explained to them that it was over heating and losing coolant. They advised us that they could not find any external coolant leaks, no coolant in the oil, and did not advise as to any exhaust gases in the coolant (there would be exhaust gases in the coolant with a bad head gasket and is easy to test for). They said they found coolant in the egr coolers. They suspected leaking egr coolers. We gave them the go ahead and fix it. They tore it apart and pressure tested the egr coolers and determined they were not, in fact, leaking. They told us it needed a new engine but on their receipt they wrote possible head gaskets. As we were skeptical of this recommendation we requested they reassemble. If they would have tested the coolant for exhaust gases they would have known it was more than likely head gaskets at the beginning. Instead they did not and told us it was likely the egr coolers as they found coolant in them. Once back home we brought the truck to a shop in Orlando where they ran the truck to operating temperature and immediately found exhaust gasses and extra pressure in the coolant. Determined bad head gaskets and we are now having the repair done there. Basically paid them $2000+ for a misdiagnosis.

PLEASE! Do not listen to any of these reviews. This business is simply out to get your money! I walked in looking to simply get a shock fixed and another simple thing done. The man told us that he could not look at the car until 3 days later. He also said it would be really tough and maybe an unfixable problem (so that when he fixed it we would be so happy and pay up). We knew what he was up to; two young woman walk into the store and he knew he could get a good profit. He also was trying to scare us into not taking it back home stating “hope it doesn’t blow up.” (We knew it wouldn’t). Please don’t go here. He treated us like we were stupid. Think maybe they should be nicer since customer service is the key to an automotive repair company.

Excellent work on a remanufactured transmission install on my 2011 Ford ranger. Install a catalytic converter. Very reliable on the timeline. Did not over promise. Delivered on the timeline agreed to. Was referred to this automotive shop by a couple of acquaintances. I didn't know the people At the shop previously so this review is straight up.

Cannot say enough good about this place, took my truck to a diff repair place and they couldn't fix it after they took it all apart, they referred it to buzz and his team. They were able to diagnose the issue from a torn apart truck and was able to fix it without any issues. To top it off the final price was less than I was originally quoted. They're not going to upsell you something you don't need. Integrity and honesty are 2 words that come to mind. I will continue to bring my automotive needs to hanahan automotive, they have earned my business.

Do not bother taking your car here. They had my car for 3 months and charged me $1000.00 over original estimate. The reason they had it for 3 months? I was told they had to find someone qualified to do the engine work. The reason for the additional charge? I was told something that the book calls for 14 hours labor "took 14....15...16..." No straight answer. Beware of this shop!!

The guys and gal at H.A.T.S. are great. They have worked on 2 of my cars... 87 Foxbody and my 76 Mustang II. They did a great job. Morgan kept me in the loop every step of the way... I can only say good things.

Two bad experiences here. A muffler they replaced rusted out in just 15 months — looked used, not new. I question whether they actually replaced the muffler or just scabbed the pipe instead but charged me for a new muffler. Then I spent $1,200 on “repairs” for a engine starting issue that didn’t fix the problem. Only after another 1 1/2 weeks did the owner step in to diagnose it correctly with more charges on top of the 1200 already spent. Feels like they cut corners and take advantage of customers, or maybe just women. Won’t be back.
