The customer service is poor. I have been going to Hannibal’s for over 6 years since I received my first car. The site manager joe was extremely rude after I drop my car off to be checked and they gave it back to me with it squeaking loud than before. He stated they didn’t want to work my car at the shop anymore and I could find another shop to go to.

I've been dealing with hannibal over 12 years..they are great there is no one i trust more than him. Take it from me I'm a woman i was over priced and took advantage of back then from other places..they are the most trustworthy and honest people...i just love them...i would and have referred people to them...❤ Thank you always. I’m the stereotypical person who knows nothing about cars and they’ve always taken care of me and not tried to oversell me like other places. I’ve been multiple times and been happy each time. Everyone is friendly and explains as much or as little as you want to know.

Honest, affordable, and helpful. I brought my car in to have the oil pan replaced and front breaks done, came out below what I had budgeted! I had asked them to look at something that had been acting up and they investigated it thoroughly, but nothing came of it and noone tried to con me.

I'm visiting Boston at the hospital and a friend recommended this mechanic. He took good care of us and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (wheel bearing, which required sending it to a 3rd party for pressing, but still was done within hours).

My dad goes here all the time and his job works with them as well. Here at Adams St and the one on Victory Rd, they’re both great. They are all nice to me and actually care about my car and wanting it to be safe to drive. Along with an inspection, they worked on replacing my Starter. I recommend both places 100%. Everyone’s experiences with places can be different, so don’t just rely on reviews, see for yourself, you never know. ♥️🙏🏾

Expensive, missed problem 1/4 tries, did repair without running quote by me first. They bite off more than they can chew as well. Left my car there & it took a week to get it done. Customer service is iffy. Hard to get through on the phone, was treated rudely as well.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I literally just bring my car in to make sure everything is good. I wanted an oil change and unfortunately they do not do oil changes here, But Michael brought my car to get the oil change to a place they work with across the street. And did not charge me for any unnecessary work that I did not need to get done: I 100% recommended this place to anyone. They’re awesome and have so much patience. Yes you will need to wait because they’re busy and do not take appointments. First come first serve here. Highly recommend.

Hannibal has been my mechanic for many years and will be so for years to come. He has a great team that works very well together, they're very polite, very friendly and very positive despite their personal challenges. I also love the little positive sayings that are hung on the wall, and I read them every time I'm there. Those words not only encourage Hannibal's team but encourage me throughout my work day. If they can do it, so can I.

I have to give these guys a huge shoutout!! I arrived at work in the Seaport on Monday not realizing the strap holding the gas tank in my Ram had let go (After a quick google search there is a recall on this!). Panicked about not risking getting stuck on my way home. I called Hannibal Auto Repair, I spoke with Charlie and told him I live on the north shore and there is no way this truck will make it home without this tank letting go. It was completely full (about 30 gallons of gas). I was able to drive it slowly from Seaport to Hannibal. He was able to get me in right away and took great care of me. Couldn't have asked for a more trustworthy and reasonable experience. Thank you guys!!!

I thought my car just needed an oil change. Turns out it needed therapy. Mechanic slid under the car, mumbled “she’s been through a lot,” and patted the exhaust pipe like an old friend. Forty-five minutes later, she ran smoother than my relationships. He handed me the keys and said, “She’s not just fixed… she’s forgiven.” Five stars. I’d let him work on my soul if he had the right tools
