As my family and I were visiting Boston, a driver told us our tail lights were out. We immediately pulled off and I googled mechanics. Hannibal Auto had rave reviews and lucky for us, was the closest garage. The reviews were validated. They looked at our car immediately and repaired our tail lights within 15 minutes. This place was wonderful. I called first thing in the morning asking for multiple things and they said it would be no problem. I've taken my car to this mechanic a few times. My battery of 8 months was not holding a charge and I called them. They said all you ever got here was brakes. I told the guy the battery is the same battery they sell there. He said, "If you have a receipt I could honor the warranty" You knew I had brakes done by my phone number but not a battery? Last time I deal with them. Neighborhood garages should treat their community better.

Amazing service! I came in with no appointment because my car had a very loud noise coming from the front wheel area, and I was really worried it might be something serious. They took the car right away, diagnosed the problem fast, and fixed it the same day. The noise is completely gone now and the car drives perfectly. The price was very fair, the work was professional, and the whole experience was stress-free. This is honestly one of the best and most honest auto repair shops in the Boston area. I’ve been going to Hannibal‘s for a while and they have been really helpful a number of times. Today I had an issue when I got snow tires, the tire/ repair shop up North tried to tell me I needed new front lower control arms, which is a very expensive repair. I took it to Hannibal‘s for a second opinion (actually, third because the dealership thought there was nothing wrong, but I didn’t trust them because we could’ve been dealing with a just-expired-warranty issue). Mike very kindly called me and told me there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my car. I am a loyal customer forever!

Came here to diagnose issues with coolant. The mechanic was nice and let me wait, a techanning the phones I think his name was Michael. Was very rude, dismissive and unprofessional. I was never shown any issues or told why parts needed to be replaced. And what the price breakdown was. 805 to replace a water hose and thermostat? I will shop around and Hannibal was understanding but when I retrieved my car there was zero care taken. The cap to my coolant reservoir was off (see photo). I have a car seat in my backseat, I have a child and they do that. There was no issue with my coolant before getting service done Oct 1st at this location. Which cost the same and I got more work done, axels replaced, suspensions and more. This mechanic will rip you off especially if you're a single black mother.
