Very poor quality “professionals” went in for a catalytic replacement and I yes I had understood they can be costly I had gotten a quote from a muffler shop down in Oceanside for a 1/3 of the price with labor , and now my truck is running a lot more smoothly and I saved a buck or 2 I never would recommend anyone to go here

While the motor install went well with a new motor, the intake manifold was removed and the old motor fuel rail with old injectors was installed rather than the one that was on the new motor. This shop was outsourced by All Pro Custom in Oceanside.

I had a great experience here. Garfield was very nice, extremely knowledgeable and honest. I had a new catalytic converter put in here and saved $150 over what other repair shops wanted. They did a clean job and used a top of the line quality part. Good and honest machanic's are hard to find today. I really got lucky by finding Heras Auto Shop. I'll be going here and only here from now on.

Just got some work done here to get a bung welded onto my front pipe, and ended up paying way over for what other shops considered reasonable for a 10-20 minute job. I didn't realize until after the job was finished and had called other shops for quotes just how much I overpaid. For drilling and welding a bung (mind you already supplied by me as well as the pipe already being off the car) others quoted $40 for a job complete, here they originally requested $80, then bumped it up to $100, more than double what others are asking for. It's a shame that it seems like they just wanted to take advantage of an unexpected local and get the quick buck. Learn from my mistake and don't get taken advantage of, get quotes from other shops first hand before doing the job. If they quote you one thing then bump it up with no reasoning, go else where. I'll be taking welding jobs to reasonable shops in Oceanside from now on.

I went here thinking that I needed a muffler for my 1990 Corolla, but Heras immediately concluded that a muffler was unnecessary and that I just had an exhaust leak in my resonator. They got it replaced within 3 hours and I’m super happy with the sound of my car now. Will be coming back in the future!

Came in to get a valvetronic exhaust installed on my 17’ BMW 230I, i was a little nervous because i wasn’t sure if any place could do it but i left very satisfied with the work they did. They took their time in changing the actuators from the stock exhaust to the new one, and did very good with fitting and cutting the stock mid-pipe to fit the new exhaust as well. Very reasonably priced for the time they had to work on it, and recommend it to anyone that needs any exhaust work.

Garfield is a brilliant mechanic who is willing to search for discounts on parts while charging reasonably priced labor. Undercuts all other auto shops. Excellent customer service and a happy car!!! He got my car prepped for a smog check at half the price of any competitor and it passed with flying colors!!! Highly recommend!!!

Came here with my 2005 Chrysler 5.7 hemi to get a muffler delete and I will say the job was okay. I mean he got it done but the attitude and the price is kind of ridiculous. This guy has no professionalism and likes to curse while he talks to customers and you can't negotiate him any and his prices are atrocious. Go to any other exhaust shop and you'll get half off. This guy charged me $420 after negotiation. Originally tried to charge me $450 for a simple muffler delete. All he did was cut the pipes off and weld two pipes. Not even a new muffler! Stay away from the shop at all. Cost if you don't want to get ripped off and deal with sleazy business.
