The waiting area was comfortable and the entire process was smooth. Total time in and out was about 15-20 minutes. Highly recommend this place of business.

I am a first time customer of Hilltop's. Started with an oil change and several days later had about $2,000 work done. Hilltop reminds me of my past mechanical service and is just as good, if not better. I feel that my problems and concerns are really addressed to my satisfaction. I get the feeling it's a one-on-one experience. I have never got similar service from a Dealer

As a woman, getting reliable trustworthy service is challenging. I don't know as much as a guy does about motors but I do know when something isn't right with my vehicle and all I can say is that I trust Hilltop to the fullest. They go above & beyond for their customers. I depend on my vehicle for work and they keep it running so I keep making money. They keep all of our vehicles running my husbands, my son and his wife. The people there were pleasant, however my car was said to be done that same day, but then wasn’t. My car was not done until about 11am the next day. I was definitely frustrated with the communication or lack there of, as I had to keep calling to check in on the progress. I also felt that they were charging way too much “labor” for what had been done. I was charged about $60 more than the “Parts” which was still way overpriced. Keep in mind the “Parts” was about $500 for 3 little parts. Not sure if this was because I came in alone and am a woman but either way I am disappointed. I could not find any information on hourly rates for labor so this also seems shady. Also had some over charging, still to this very minute I over paid as a AAA member there is a discount of, I believe, 10% which I did not get nearly that percent. I am not sure if I would go back if another issue arises with my vehicle as I feel I have been taken advantage of.

My secondary car a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee just stopped and had to be towed to one shop. They did not know what was wrong so they referred us to hilltop automotive so we have the car towed there too. It was a process of elimination and they still couldn't find exactly what was wrong with the vehicle but it runs. They couldn't have been nicer and more efficient. They seem to be very honest and the only charged a very small fee. I would not hesitate to take the car back if there was any other problems and it was somewhat easy to find.

0/5 Charged me $1500 for an Inverter Water Pump replacement and coolant replacement on my 2006 Prius back in 2022. Just for 1 water pump right behind the driver side headlight, really?!? Ridiculous prices and wouldn’t have paid had it not been an emergency. Absolute scammers and still have a receipt to prove it.

If you're a AAA member, come here for your smog test. We needed a smog test and a quick check on the CA website listed this as a business near us. I called to check if we needed an appointment and they said walk ins are welcome from 8AM-4PM. There's a few parking spots in front of their shop, but there is street parking available as well. The waiting room has a tall table and four chairs while there's also a couch. They had this small shop fan on the floor but it was strong and kept us very cool. We got checked in and were informed it would be $70 for a 10 minute smog check. I had my Nintendo switch with me and I hadn't even finished one Pokémon battle when they informed us everything was complete. They also advised us that we could pick up our tags at the AAA office since they were a certified partner. The whole ordeal took us less than 2 hours we got our car smogged and the tags for it within the same day. No need to worry about it getting lost in the mail.

I took my vehicle in so they can check the transmission they wanted to sell me a new transmission so I decided to get a second opinion Hilltop left the oil plug lose and the next day I found oil all over my garage floor I took in my vehicle in for second opinion and all it needed was a solenoid replaced in the transmission from almost ten grand to twelve hundred dollars some shops can’t be trusted

My husband and I bring both our cars here and we have been coming for years. I refer all my friends here and even strangers in need of a good mechanic. So many bad mechanics out there. Unfortunately due to the heat here in the desert and the age of both our cars, we have had to bring them in for service several times to replace parts. Gary has been great in helping us with fees and service. Even open today on Memorial Day! I really appreciate it as my car was inoperable and it was urgent to get fixed. We can't go without transportation in this heat. I have a grand baby to get to Urgent Care. Thanks to all Gary's employees who came in to work on this holiday, (Niko who services our vehicle). It was done quickly as we waited. Niko more owns the business. Him and his wife Veronica are a life saver. They are always heron me with last-minute emergencies. Thank you to them for always helping me out. They did a great job getting my window replaced quickly and fixing a few other things, too. They are wonderful people! And honest when I don't need something replaced!!!

This was my first time to HillTop for an oil change for my Mazda CX 5. Nico noticed the front engine timing cover was leaking oil. He said the leak may be covered under the Mazda Powertrain Warranty, and I should check with Mazda before the oil change. Yes, I checked and it is covered … major work … 3.6 hours of warranty labor. A real pro does a brief check looking for major issues before stating work. . I am very pleased with HillTop and Nico. Yes, TillTop is on my return list.
