I bought 4 tires and the car was pulling to the right terribly. I went back and asked them to look at my tires and was told one was defective and there was nothing they could do about it. He wouldn’t even move it to the back of the car so it wouldn’t pull to the right for me. Worst experience I’ve experienced buying tires. I wouldn’t event give the one star but it was the only way I could post a review.

I was in that area shopping and I noticed my tire pressure signal came on. I had always heard good things about Holt'sTire service I stopped by there to have my air pressure checked and it was low on all tires they quickly checked it and filled to the correct pressure and it was because of the weather they said sometimes in cold weather you lose air in your tires they were very courteous and friendly and there was no charge.

fill up. A flat changed. They were quick and little on the expensive side to me fir a tire change. The owner said it wS because of the the weight and balancing of my tire which I already had in my possession. But the black guy that did the work had excellent customer service skills .

Edit: Holt Tire Pros got back in touch with me regarding the CR-V incident. They took full responsibility and refunded me my money. Because of the way in which they went about this situation, I would go back. They stand behind their product. Incredibly unhelpful and rude. I dropped my 2000 Honda CR-V off with them to look at it. It had been shutting off while driving and slipping from the 4-5th gear. Slipping was minimal so I was more concerned about the random shut offs that occurred while driving. I was told before any work was done on the car I would receive a phone car letting me know what was wrong before proceeding with the service. I dropped it off on a Tuesday. They let me know it would be Wednesday before they could look at it. No problem at all. I call Wednesday around 10:30 AM to see if there were any updates. No updates - not a problem. The next call I receive is letting me know the car is ready and I owe $200. I asked if they found an issue with it and the only item they brought up was the throttle body needed cleaning. No information on the car dying and no information on the gear slippage. Also, no call in between letting me know the services, no updates, just a final price tag of something I did not sign off on. I get to Holt, pay the $200 and walk out to my car. The car does not start. A mechanic comes out to check it out and lets me know that it died on them (something that was not told to me during my call) and that he thought it was most likely the distributor (another item I was not told about during the call). The fact that I paid $200 for nothing is insulting. I didn't even bother talking to management because the customer service I had received up to that point was worthless. I will not be taking any of my vehicles back to this mechanic and hope no one else falls into this trap.

I came here to get my flat tire fixed, they fixed it (well I thought they did), but 2 hours later it went flat. I was going to come back, but they had already closed so I just went to the nearest tire shop I was at the time and they fixed it (although we arrived during closing hours, but they took us in 😀) I came back to see if I was able to get a refund, but the old man kept giving me excuses until he finally gave in and gave me my refund but he absurdly threw the money on the counter. If you aren’t gonna be polite then DON’T run a shop!!!!

I am fairly new to Memphis. I've become more familiar with simple car repairs but didn't want to do my breaks, tires, etc... myself- as I usually have help. I was VERY skeptical because, well auto mechanics don't have the best reputation. At first I felt like the price was high, but after researching it more, their prices were incredibly fair. They did a good job, and had it done quick. They were no nonsense. I feel very confident with my decision to have my work done there. There is always someplace I could have saved $100 here or there but sometimes the cheapest, isn't always the way to go. I feel price/value ratio was more than fair. Hope this helps. I would and will go back.

I needed my tire fixed and used to live in Arlington, I hadn’t found a new tire shop here in Memphis yet but my roommate recommended Holt which just so happened to be right near my place of work…. I literally could never imagine going anywhere else for anything ever again. These people were so kind to me and my car is in great shape. No “low tire pressure” lights on anymore and the quickest most efficient service I’ve ever experienced. Go show them some love.

I cannot recommend Holt Tire more! I had a blowout after hitting debris on the interstate and needed a tire center asap. As I watched my PSI steadily drop, I happened upon Holt tire on Mendenhall and pulled in right in the nick of time. Service was fast and friendly. They offered several options and went out of their way to get my exact tire to replace and get me back on the road. Their pricing was more than fair and the quality of work was excellent. If you are in the Memphis area and need any kind of tire service, Holt is your place!
