We attempted to have him work on my boyfriend's car he was not very interested in fixing it because it was OBD 1 he also does not warranty his work because he pulled the spark plugs out of our Honda and put them back in with a gun. The plugs won't come out now and he said it's an issue with the Honda cylinder head and its age. beware of the shade tree mechanic.

Had him work on my 92 prelude. Because it was not OBD2, he did not want to touch it. He also put my spark plugs in with a gun and now they won't come out and he's saying it's an issue with honest cylinder heads and the threads in the aluminum. Whatever you do, do not bring your Honda to this guy. Especially if it's older than 1996. Because he does not know what he's doing.

I recently purchased a 2017 Honda Ridgeline AWD RTL-T which had 105K miles and required a timing belt replacement. Also, decided to have the timing belt tensioner, serpentine belt, water pump, and spark plugs replaced, and to have valve adjustment & tune up completed. Found favorable Google reviews for Honda & Acura Auto Repair. I contacted the owner, Hai, a Master Technician, who immediately sent me a very reasonable quote and got me into the auto shop quickly. I met Hai at his shop on 14JAN2025 and he gave the Ridgeline a thorough visual inspection for any discrepancies as the vehicle was new to me. Hai then completed the scheduled maintenance in one day. The Ridgeline is still running great as of 10FEB. If you have a Honda vehicle, then this is the place to have it repaired. Highly recommend Honda & Acura Auto Repair for the trustworthy owner, skilled workmanship, reasonable price, and timeliness of completion.

I fully agree with the other positive reviews. After losing confidence in the dealership and finding so many mixed reviews for even well-rated shops, with an oil leak in my Acura that seemed to be worsening, I needed an excellent mechanic and needed to trust that if I took it in and left it, the problem would be fixed correctly. Hai is well-qualified, seems meticulous, and it is clear that he cares about what he is doing. His quotes after inspection are detailed, and quality of parts and workmanship are taken into account. He is impressively responsive and timely with both communication and repairs, and I was charged what I was quoted. Knowing the vehicle being worked on was my only source of transportation, he even loaned me a vehicle. I've never experienced better customer service at a shop, and it was wonderful to leave my car somewhere and have full confidence the outcome would be good.
