After almost 2 years away and being a regular with Honest Accurate before, I was here only for a few days and needed to get back to Louisiana for an important medical appointment. My car breaks down On a Friday These guys squeezed me in and stayed late to get me back on the road by Sunday.. Honest Accurate needs a new name. They (tried to) charge for work that wasn't done, provided an inaccurate inspection report, quoted parts up to 10x their actual price, recommended repairs that were just done, and their labor is through the roof. More details below. After the last oil change I brought my 09 CRV in for I was given a bill for a headlight that was out, I was aware of this issue and intended to replace it myself. I did not approve of this work being done on my car so Sean took care of the $40 bill I was given (a headlight for my car is $20). That night I checked, the headlight still needed replaced. Not only did they attempt to charge me for an unapproved service but they didn't do that service at all. So, I returned yesterday for my next oil change and requested an alignment, Krystal told me due to the work that needs to be done on my car the alignment wouldn't stick, which I understand, so I looked at the work they said needed done. This inspection was WILDLY inaccurate. I have a brother who has been a mechanic for 10 years and did some work on my car last week as well as an inspection. It is important to note here that he replaced my front sway bar bushings, flushed my power steering, replaced my spark plugs, and my cabin air filter. He informed me there is a clunking in my car due to a loose mount on my front driver strut, and both of my rear axels need replaced as they are slowly leaking, otherwise my car is in good condition. I have attached a photo of the work they recommended be done on my car. *Sway bars are old, but they are fine *Rear struts are fine, my front ones need replaced *BOTH rear CV axels are leaking and need replaced (not just the left) *Cabin air filter JUST done *Power steering JUST done *Spark plugs JUST done This inspection was sloppy. They told me rear parts needed replaced when the fronts do, they told me to get work done that was done last week, they missed an axel that needs replaced, misidentified the clunking noise, and threw in unnecessary fluid flushes. I knew the parts listed on my inspection report could not be accurate so I did my research. My quote for these parts is coming from the O'Reillys website. Both sway bar kits for my car are $80, they listed $157 Rear struts are $183 each, they listed $358 each Rear left CV axel is $200, they listed $878 for 1 Power steering fluid is $15, they listed $112 Spark plugs are $80 for all 4 of them, they listed $157 A gasket is $50 for my car, they listed $97 I am appalled by the fact they wanted to charge me $112 for $15 power steering fluid, that shows me they have no issue drastically overcharging. Their labor is equally overpriced, $56 of labor for my cabin air filter, that job takes 2 minutes, I've done it. A total of $5,000 for the parts and labor on my car, I know that mechanics are known for being expensive but Hondac was trying to take advantage. If you have to go to them for work on your car, I suggest you get a second opinion first so the same doesn't happen to you. The reason I brought my car back after the headlight incident was because I have already paid for 4 oil changes, but now, I am not sure I trust that the oil change was actually done and I have 1 left on the punch card. I am debating on returning for it, and if I do, I hope their next inspection is accurate and their prices are fair.

Krystal and the team at Honest were AMAZING! We have recently moved to Colorado Springs from the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and started having an issue with our low mileage 2008 Hyundai Sonata starting and were referred to another local repair shop by a friend. They quoted me an exorbitantly high price and were EXTREMELY RUDE. I called Honest after reading your plethora of 5 ⭐️ reviews. Man am I glad I did! Krystal asked me pertinent questions about the issues the Sonata was having and they were very polite and welcoming! I was super impressed! They contacted me the next day and long story short they saved me a TON of money and I can’t recommend them enough!! They have a customer for life! Not sure if I should change from a dealer to an independent auto repair. We called AAA and they recommended Honest Accurate Auto Repair. When I called with questions I got my questions answered and I felt Jeff was honest. I brought my car in last Thursday. I was brought home and they picked me up at home to get my car. They did a complete inspection. Randy emailed me with what they found along with photos and the cost. I got in my car and it felt solid. I don’t know how to explain that but I felt comfortable and safe knowing what they said they would do was complete. I will have Honest Accurate Auto Repair service my vehicle from now on. They always do an excellent job whether it’s a basic oil change or something more. The word honest was shown yesterday. There was a potential repair that could’ve cost over $700. Fortunately for me, it didn’t need to be done. I’ve had places in the past That have taken advantage of me as a woman, but that would never happen here. I was able to use my pen card for the oil change and didn’t have to pay a penny. Plus the gift that they gave me at the end was incredible. Just like their customer service.
