Very unprofessional dude , I knew I shouldn’t have taken a chance with someone without any good reviews and more mechanic questions I called for my ac to be fixed in my car and only got a air compressor fixed which he kept pumping ac pro in telling me it’s not not leaking he “ just making sure it’s set at the right temp “ just go to a shop don’t use this guy

He charged $140 to tighten 2 bolts in less than an hour and the problem wasn't fixed. He was going to charge an additional $150 to put on an additional part. When I called him he said that the $60 to come out would be included into the labor. So he charged us $200 to tighten a few bolts. I dont recommend him! I guess I can only edit my review to reply to his response 4 months later. Hot rod, I didn't buy a part. You didn't replace any parts. You turned a wrench on 2 bolts! That was it! Then you charged us $200. We didn't diagnose the TRUCK not a car. We called you to fo that. Which ended up being the tire needed to replaced. Not the gearbox.

He said he was going to show up around 9 am, and about 9:30 he was there. He explained that someone's brakes went out and he was helping them before coming to help us. He replaced a fuel pump and in line fuel filter in a couple of hours. Now the 1950 Mercury is running smooth! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a mobile mechanic! PS he's a skateboarder too, so that makes this review 6 stars!!!

Left my steering wheel upside down, steering is no longer tight after he replaced my rack and pinion. Didn't complete the job correctly, charged a shop price Did Not stand by his work. Now I will have to pay more money to fix his mistakes.

I called richard to help on a carburetor issue. He did good getting the car running and tuning the carburetor. So I decided to let gim do some other routine maintenance such as re install the valve cover gasket and replace the thermostat. Although I am fully capable of this I enjoyed his company and wanted to stimulate locally. After returning with thermostat, he had already re installed the valve cover. I asked what he set the torque to and he said “around 29. Seemed high for a valve cover bolt. So i went inside looked at my Manuel from chilton which indicated 5-6 foot lbs on the valve cover bolts. I asked what I owed and told him to leave. I removed Nd reinstalled the valve cover. As it had leaked from his job. Steer clear every mechanic should use torque specs. The reply to this is simply untrue, this guy called to verbally call me names not work out any issue regarding his performance. He’s clearly un happy that I was paying attention. Steer clear.

I hate when people up the price on services and don’t stick with their initial price. Mechanic: Meet me at $200 for the travel and labor Me: ok. After he arrives, Mechanic: it’s gonna be $300 That is not what we agreed upon, but I needed the work done. That is not good customer service. You can’t play with people’s money. I should have found someone else. Oh well.

So I read the bad reviews and the good and I will confirm base on my own experience that. For delicate work do not use this mechanic. He does not work professionally. First of the bat. His price did change. His excuse. Was the over the phone price was off because now onsite there more to do. That was first red flag. 2nd seeing him work . Tabs got broken. Which can happen but him trying to do the work fast to get the money fast isn't right. Broken tabs. Rushed work. Didn't change certain gaskets claiming old one are good. Not covering sensitivity areas of engine to ensure things don't fall inside valves. Then tries to rush everything back together. I basically had him stop.because at this point then I would be throwing the new part I bought away. Paid him a fair amount for his presence but definitely look for someone else. If you do end up hiring him. Look at his tool setup. You can see it's almost like a hobby or dyi . You will end up spending money to fix his mistakes later

10/10. I contacted Rich for mechanical issues for my cars starter and he answered back immediately. He came to me the next morning and finished up earlier than expected. Great job Richard!!!
