Ben in Produce......I have no doubt he is the true cornerstone of the HyVee pyramid. Last week he stayed late (30 min) to help me put together a menu of fruits and veggies for an upcoming event. It's my understanding he even skipped his son's baptism to do so. Ben is truly a selfless individual.

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at this store. On April 19th around 4:00 PM, I was helped by a cashier at Register 7 who treated me with a shocking lack of courtesy. Their behavior was rude and unprofessional, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I expected better customer service from a place I’ve trusted for my shopping. I hope this issue will be addressed so that other customers don’t have to go through the same experience.

Was drinking a great bottle of red wine I’d bought last week. It was so good that I called and asked if they had any left as it was a special deal. Initially couldn’t find it, but HV team member texted the manager. I hung up but within 5 minutes they called me back and found 4 bottles. Big WOW.

I visited the gas station to on a lunch break to grab some "fresh" food. Not many choices at all and very expensive. 6 tea decanters and everyone was empty. I love HiVee grocery, but do not recommend the gas station

There was a gentleman checking out with double the amount of allowed items at the express check out which is 15. The only express lane open. I went to the customer service desk and brought it to the managers attention. He said he was going to go speak with him. He came out from behind the desk, waited until I was out the door and then went right back. Big dude, long hair beard. If you can’t handle being in charge and don’t be bro.

I wish I would’ve gotten these ladies names! Best customer service ever! I was looking for oysters & a meat injector, the last two items on my list. The associate saw I was confused and asked me if I needed help. Not only did she go grab the meat injector & bring it back to me… but then took me to exactly where the canned oysters were. She probably saved me an hour or more of looking. Not to mention during a chaotic shopping time on Christmas Eve. Then my lady who checked me out was so sweet! Had the most festive sparkly sweater & ho-Ho-ho earrings. She was pleasant, genuine & really just made a chaotic shopping time pleasant. I love this HyVee location so much & now strictly only shop here. Even joined rewards because of the consistent service I get here every single time! Thank You!

I miss the open salad bar, but our food was served fresh and hot. Prices were very reasonably priced for the serving size we got. The store was clean and organized, very appealing for the eye. Sales were priced generously, if we had a store closer this would be our go to shop esp with the gas station so close.

Floral department quoted me $25 for a corsage and $15 for a boutonniere. I was charge $20 for the boutonniere and $35 for the corsage at pick up. The corsage was the same size as the boutonniere and just completely covered in a pile of ribbon. Overcharged by $15. Should’ve paid when I ordered. Not to mention

This store is super easy to swing by in the morning on my way to work, but I can’t help wondering why there’s only one checkout lane open. At 7 a.m., I’m just trying to buy my breakfast and get on with my life—why not fire up a couple of self-checkout lanes? I know they shut most of them down because of all the “sticky-fingered professionals” out there, but let’s be honest… I seriously doubt the early birds are the ones doing Ocean’s Eleven with the barcode scanners. Morning shoppers are just trying to caffeinate, not orchestrate a heist. Just my two cents.

I love HyVee in Jefferson City; both the grocery store and the gas station. The employees assist happily and confidently with any need you may have. Cleanliness, great customer service, a vast inventory of products and quality made hot and cold foods are their high points. Their gasoline is top quality and precise on the tanks. Bathrooms are always fully stocked and clean. I would give them a five if the parking were better and prices were a little cheaper, but with the large number of employees that they keep on duty at all times I can definitely understand why the prices are a little more than other stores in town. I appreciate all the customer appreciation activities and benefits they gift their returning customers including their customer loyalty programs. It's always nice to walk in knowing you'll be greeted with a smile and a hello, knowing you'll be leaving with a smile as well.... Smiles are contagious you know :)
