Convenience was great, which is why I’m giving them two stars, but the result of their work was not great. I’ve had multiple rock chips repaired over the years and this one looks the same after they finished as when they started. I wasn’t there when the performed the fix, so I couldn’t say anything, but when I got out to my car after work to see the end result, it was like they didn’t even fix my rock chip. I texted right then and sent pictures and was told I would hear back from them. I sent additional pictures the next day before finally getting a response. They said I could change my claim to a windshield replacement instead of a rock chip repair. This seems more like a bait and switch for them to squeeze more money out of the insurance companies for a full replacement instead of the cost of a basic rock chip repair. I’m including pictures to show that this was a basic, small rock chip repair. The picture has no indication that the resin was filled into the chip. This would have earned one star for the result if it wasn’t so convenient for them to come to my work, but I’m sure they charged the insurance for that convenience.

Don is the man!! He came out, we pulled the windshield (he did while I asked questions to become more educated about them) on my 1965 Pontiac. The whole bottom of the frame was super rotten from rust - you could put your hand through the holes. He didn't charge me for the labor removing all the clips, trim, and chrome molding to get the old windshield out. He told me to give him a call when I had fresh steel welded in for a second attempt at the windshield. A week later I had all the cancer cut out and fresh steel welded in. Some spots I had concerns because the fenders blocked part of the trim so there were a few incomplete mates in the metal. Don understood the assignment and pumped the concerning areas full of adhesive - making a leak impossible. Windshield set in perfectly and Don even snapped all the trim back on with the new clips I got off the internet. This is a custom car with some unorthodox requests for the windshield and Don nailed it. I would highly recommend him and will be using him again for the rear window on the Pontiac and the windshield on my Galaxie.
