I needed to get some maintenance completed on my Audi Q7 at the last minute & came to George at Imported Cars. He met me in the garage & was willing to take it in as he was closing which I truly appreciated. I was able to text him exactly what work I needed completed on the car & left it overnight. The next day he provided a fair estimate & had my baby back that night. He also gave it a courtesy clean which I also appreciated. I was able to pay in cash or card & the process was just seamless. For anyone who owns a German car, they understand the hassle it can be to get work done sometimes. Of course I had to write a review for that kind of quality work & expeditious service. I definitely recommend seeing George at Imported Cars of Stamford. Thank you George. I really appreciate the great service & it was great working with you!

8/6/19 George was amazing. I called up to ask if they could install an aftermarket catback exhaust and they were able to take me the next day! They had fair prices and were very professional! Definitely recommend to everyone! 7/7/20 Went back to George a second time to get a pair of Cold Air Intakes installed. He was as always, professional and did an amazing job. He sent me pictures to let me know how it was going. He has a fair prices for good work. Can’t recommend this place enough! 12/10/21 Imported Cars of Stamford and George do an amazing job as always. He always keeps me informed on the work he’s doing and he does great work. I will continue to use his shop myself and always recommend him to anyone I know!

George and the team at ICS did a phenomenal job on my 10-year-old Mercedes wagon recently. George personally called to discuss my preventative maintenance plan and was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to work me into his schedule immediately. His team went above and beyond receiving the car and were able to assist me with transportation and gave me a feeling of confidence that my car was in good hands. When the work was performed George kept me updated every step of the way with detailed photographs of the car in process along with photographs of the used parts that were replaced. After the work was complete I personally checked the entire car for leaks or other issues and found that there were none in that the work was done to a very high standard. George completed the work ahead of schedule and pick up was easy even though I am coming from New York City. If you have an older German car I highly recommend George and his team, they are an honest, appropriately priced alternative to the dealers service department, and they genuinely care about pleasing the customer and repeat business.

George, Mitch and the rest of the team are incredibly talented in diagnostics as well as the most effective, efficient, and cost-effective way to repair ANY foreign vehicles. I was stunned.. when I brought my vehicle in for repair. They didn’t have the parts- but they got ‘em and my car was fixed (like new) within 1 day. The customer service they offer is so genuine and authentic.. that you truly feel as if you’ve known them all - for decades. George and the incredibly talented team at Imported Cars of Stamford (ICS) go above and beyond when it comes to both customer service and the quality of their work. I recently brought in my beloved 2008 VW R32, which had 185k miles and was still running nearly all original suspension and brake components. What ICS delivered was nothing short of transformative. They performed a full suspension and brake overhaul—new shocks and struts, lowering springs, wheel bearings, sway bar links, mounts, bushings, and even sourced replacement ball joints on the fly when worn ones were found. Despite rusted, frozen hardware throughout the car, the team handled it all with absolute professionalism, replacing everything with new OE-quality hardware. George kept me updated the entire time with outstanding communication and even sent photos documenting the work along the way. That level of transparency and care is rare. The result? My R32 now rides better than it did from the factory. And as a cherry on top, they cleared the full Christmas tree of ABS, traction control, and steering faults that had been plaguing the dash. Whether it’s your daily driver or a prized project car, I wouldn’t trust anyone else but George and the crew at ICS. They treat every car like it’s their own—and it shows.

George, Mitch and his team are excellent. First time doing business with them was to get my M3 lowered, new spacers, and skid plate. I was kept in the loop with updates and pictures along the way, which did give me reassurance. You can sense their passion for cars and providing their customers with excellent service. They were able to get it done and stayed the course even when things didn’t turn out as expected. I can’t say enough good things about Imported Cars of Stamford. From start to finish, this was hands down the best auto service experience I’ve ever had. The quality of work, the pricing, and the transparency were like nothing I’ve seen anywhere else. George is the kind of mechanic and person you hope to find straight-forward, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. As a BMW X6 owner, I’ve dealt with plenty of shops that overcharge or take forever. Not here. The communication was excellent, the wait time was quick, and the professionalism was top-tier. I honestly wish I’d known about this place sooner. If you want real service, fair prices, and people who actually care about their customers, Imported Cars Stamford is where you go. If you don’t have time and money to waste, trust me, do not go anywhere else!!! He took care of my brakes, my rotors, my start starter motor engine .
