I've been taking my cars here for many years, excellent service, top quality work. I prefer to drive older cars instead of losing value when driving newer cars. On several occasions, the owner pointed out a "work around" option to save me cost and even told me I did not need a repair when I thought I did. I've never seen an advertisement for the place. I assume he fills his schedule with word of mouth. The more a place needs to advertise for business, the more skeptical I am.

Joe and crew at J K auto is the only place I take my vehicles now. His pricing is fair, and he never tries to sell you on service you don't need. I've mentioned a tire rotation a time or two, and he's called and told me I don't need it yet. He also got me a great deal on some tires and wheels when I started getting slow leaks (thanks GM...). He's that hometown mechanic everyone looks for when they move to a new city.

I have used JK for a number of years across multiple vehicles. Their services is the absolute best, they stand behind their work and have been up front on everything. They justed completed service on my vehicle today. I would encourage anyone looking for a good shop that will never try and up-sell you to go work with Joe and the folks at JK. Update 2/8/23: another wonderful experience with the shop. My alternator went yesterday, even short staffed they got the vehicle done mby the next day. They were substantially lower in cost compared to the dealership, they (Kevin) worked late to get my suv back before the snow storm. I can't say enough about the great service, hard work and how accommodating they are. 5 stars is simply not enough, I don't and won't take my vehicle's anywhere else.

I didn't even get my car worked on here, but their customer service was amazing even just through a phone call! A coworker recommended this shop to me, and I called about a possible wheel bearing issue (just wanting my car in sooner rather than later, in case the issue was serious). The mechanic was honest and said they were booked for two weeks solid, and when I asked about another option he mentioned Grishaber Service Station nearby. What a wonderful practice to make sure customers are taken care of regardless if it's at your establishment or not! Sidenote: this mechanic was also great about answering my money questions. Fabulous all-around phone etiquette!

An honest businessman - piece of mind with Joe the mechanic. I live over 100 miles away from my near-90 year old mom, and I was lucky enough to find Joe about 5 years ago via word of mouth to take care of her car and not worry that she’s going to be taken advantage of. I’ve found Joe to be very friendly and above all, honest. He treats my mom like she’s his own, and only recommends things that actually need to be done to maintain her car and nothing more (no up-selling, etc. – I know a bit about cars). And his prices seem to be very reasonable. A+

Very reasonably priced, very thorough, and doesn't waste your time or money. Took my vehicle in after being told by another place that the radiator leaked. Come to find out if was the water pump basket. And they were still able to fix it the same day. Highly recommend them to everyone. This will be my go to for all my maintenance car needs.
