oh my gosh, if you need an RV Repair talk to these people. I've been traveling for some 10 years and have never found such a great and caring business. Short story, bought a new motorhome. Big slide failed after about 2 months. Selling dealer fixed it under warranty. Slide broke again after warranty ran out. Searched for a year to find someone that I thought could really fix it. Well I was told by Thor to contact J and L RV Repair in Fontana California. Boy and I glad I did. They gave me an appointment day, timeframe for repair and a quoted price. Not only did they do the work (slide works great now) but the met the scheduled timeframe and the billed amount was less than quoted. I cannot recommend a company more than I do this one. Just an additional piece of information we upgraded the slide railing system from two tracks to three so it should be much stronger and reliable.

Thor had me take my 2022 thor magnatude to j&l to fix a long list of warranty issues some very serious. Slideout opening while driving. Awning screws stripped out and cabover screws coming out. They had my unit for 1 1/2 months called and said it's done. I live 6 hours away. My rv was dirty inside and out while driving home slideout was still opening had to pull over several times to retract it in. It's been one year since and cabover screws are coming out again also awning screws are coming out. Do Not recommend this company

From the first call to J and L, which I made while stranded on the shoulder of the 210, to when I picked up my Class C RV following a major repair, I was comforted by their humanism. They are a genuinely hard working family and treated me extremely well, coordinated effortlessly with my insurer, and got our RV roof repaired surprisingly quickly. For starters, they dispatched family patriarch Joe to meet me where I was stranded on the 210. He came to assess the situation. The roof on my 2006 Winnebago View peeled back like a banana during heavy crosswinds at the intersection of the 15 and the 210. I spent and hour beneath and underpass with a roll of Gorilla Tape trying to get it to lay back down. When Joe arrived, I was finishing up the roadside repair job and he felt it was safe to drive it to their shop in Fontana…where I met the rest of the family. They are all very respectful. I had to rent a car to get home. They were helpful with that process, too, offering me a ride to get the rental. They also picked me up at the train station when I went to collect our repaired RV. It was ready for pick-up and clean when I got there. They handled my insurance claim and made some repairs I had not anticipated. In short, they made sure everything was fixed correctly so that I would not be coming back for another visit. The only complaint I have is that there is some film or paint on the windshield. Didn’t notice it until I was driving off into the sunset in my newly repaired motorhome. Not sure what it is, but it isn’t coming off easily. I’ll try a rag with some acetone, which I suspect will clean it right up. I don’t know what a good RV roof repair looks like, but I do know when I have confidence in in a family business that is friendly, helpful, and takes care to make their customers feel comfortable and confident that their RV is in the right hands. That sense of confidence in them is reason enough to make J and L your first and only call when your RV needs repair.

This place is the home style shop to go! Real people who care! Its a whole family event and they are always looking for your best treatment! If they can get you a lower price they will, and they do. I purchased my rv and many times I have called for help operating it. They are always there to help and that’s why they have earned my business for a lifetime. They are trustworthy and when I leave I feel I’m comfortable and not getting taken advantage of.

Wow, there is a reason this business comes so highly recommended! We are full-timers who took our 2017 Open Range fifth wheel in for warranty repairs, and could not have been more impressed by the quality of service, the fantastic communication, excellent repair job, and the overall experience of working with this family owned and operated business. It was a bit of a wait to get an appointment, but this is one place that is worth the wait. Joe and his team coordinated everything directly with our manufacturer, and completed our repairs in a lightning fast manner so we could be back in our home. Sure beats these ridiculous RV sales lots that want to keep your rig for a week before they even get a chance to look at it, and then take several more weeks to fix the issue.... You can bet if we encounter any other issues with our rig, we will head straight for J&L!

We had a mishap on our maiden voyage in our Class A Motorhome. We also ended up with a few warranty issues with the coach after our first trip. J & L took care of all of our issues. Both Joe and Joelene were spectacular throughout the whole procedure. Joelene was very knowledgable right from the jump. I had already had contact with Forest River regarding the warranty work, but she jumped right in and got every issue addressed and repaired. They did an excellent job on the body work as well. If you need any work done on your coach, call J & L. The whole team goes above and beyond

Stay far away!! They kept my RV for 2 months for minor work. I finally had to call and ask why it was taking so long. They let me know at that time that one of the parts were back ordered. (wow thanks for letting me know? How long were you planning on keeping it?) I told them i would like to just pick up the RV with just the work that was already done so I didn't miss the summer. They seemed irritated by this (really?). I decided to take it to a different shop to get it fixed and asked for the part number of the item that was on back order and they just started ignoring me. Over the phone, Joelene promised to email me the part number but never got a response. I've emailed her 3 more times and they are just blowing me off. Terrible service. Will never take my RV back there again. **Update, I took my RV to another repair shop and they were able to get the part and install it right way. The kicker is, they did it for half the price quoted by J&L. Saved money and it only took them 1 day to install after receiving the part. Stay far away from J&L. They are over priced and service sucks.

If you want quality work done on your RV this is the place to go! It sometimes takes awhile to get an appointment but, the wait is rewarding. I have purchased several new RVs from different Dealers in the area over the years and have found every dealer's service department is lacking, being generous, from the quantity of sales and the sheer number of issues new RVs come with. What a PLEASURE it is not to wait for MONTHS to get a part, installed and be on my way! I actually learned about J&L through my RV Factory Warranty Rep (who I would give 5 stars if ask)! I will definitely return to J&L for any other specialized service RV needs.

We love J & L RV. It is a family owned independent business. We go out of our way to get all of our service done by Joe, who walks through the RV with us when we drop it off in the morning and reviews his work personally when we pick up the RV in the afternoon. If he feels we do not need a certain product he will tell us. For example, we were thinking of adding additional solar panels which he advised were not necessary. Joe’s work is outstanding and his daughters are a pleasure to deal with. I prefer to have all of our repairs done at J & L. In fact, we have driven over 100 miles, one way, to make that happen. What more can I say… thank you J & L We are customers for life.

J and L was recommended by my rep at Forest River. Family owned business w great customer service and quality workmanship. Definitely a lot quicker than a dealer and much easier to deal w. Finished all of the outstanding warranty work and Joe sealed my roof where there appeared to be a potential spot for leaks. I also wanted a table base installed so I can add a table for my recliners. They didn’t install it because Joe wasn’t sure if it was going to work for what I needed. So glad he didn’t, because he was right that it wouldn’t have worked. Told me to send a pic of what I wanted and he would get it done on my way back through. Highly recommend J and L if you need your rv serviced!

We were referred to J&L through our RV manufacturer, Thor. We had an issue with our main wall slide, and I asked to speak to the service department. Boy was I shocked. Not only was the office staff super friendly, they were VERY knowledgeable. They knew what our issue was, described it back top me in detail, explained the process, all in about 5 minutes. Then, once we arrived, we were greeted immediately, and made to feel welcome. Joe, the owner, personally evaluated our issue and worked with the manufacturer. We were on a tight schedule, but the immediate attention to detail and knowledge of the solution helped us get back on the road as planned. Every step of the way we were always made to feel great. Everyone was super friendly, up front, and no surprises. If you ever need someone who can give you honest answers and excellent service, at a great price, this is the place!

During summer, I took my RV in for air-conditioning repair while it was there. I asked if they do bodywork because they had some damages due to an accident. I got into they said yes I said OK once I come back from my vacation, I’ll bring it back from the river, and my AC did not work, kept blowing the breaker and not blowing cold air, so brought it back in and they gave me some BS story oh it’s too hot. It’s normal that the ac works that way and I told him I’ve been there thousands of times I know how it’s supposed to work that should’ve been a red flag so I left it there to do the bodywork about three weeks later I get a call And they told me it’s ready for pick up I went and paid full was $20,000 when I was taking delivery of the Coach I noticed about 80% of the scratches were not fixed so I start telling Marisa you gotta be kidding me you guys only repaired the front bumper rear bumper and maybe one or two little dings for $20,000 Which they had to fix all the damages they provide picture to my insurance and they didn’t not fix them it’s sad cause I use to trust them there and for them rip me off and charge me all that money for just maybe if top $6000 worth of repair and charge 20,000 WARNING these people are scammers and liars. They take your money and do not repair things. I’m still having problems with air-conditioning after they hit me with a $700 bill.for that

I highly recommend anyone with an RV, even a new RV still under warranty go to J&L. They are the most friendly family team that has unprecedented RV knowledge and deals with all brands. I used the dealers first with our first coach and quickly became very frustrated. J&L was recommended by the manufacturer and we have never looked back. I will never take my RV to another place. It is quite a drive for us coming from Escondido, but well worth it. Truly the best group of people with the know how that I have ever come across.

Working at a motorhome OEM customer service department for the past 5 years, we depend a lot on our authorized dealers to take care of our customers and have a knowledgeable hard working service staff to know how to tackle each concern and get the customer back on the road. J&L's team continues to exceed expectations with their commitment to customer service and attentive and knowledgeable staff. I can rest assure and know my customer is in excellent hands with Joe, Joelene, and the entire team at J&L.

Took my new RV here for warranty repair and they kept it for more than 6 weeks. Picked it up and drove it home. I went to open the right front compartment and there was tape on the lock with paint on it. They had wrecked my rv and sent me away without letting me know. They are crooks.

2022 Georgetown GT5. For 2 years we had a water leak into slide when closed and during the rain. When in storage or driving. Several mobile repair visits failed to diagnose. We took it back to dealer who charged a set fee to examine it. We were told it did not leak and wanted more money to test plumbing. Continued to leak in the rain with slides closed, not open. We felt Godforsaken. Called factory who recommended J & L. J & L diagnosed and repaired for half the price that the dealer charged just to look at it. I believe in God again. There are smart honest people in this business!

so this is my second time in the J&l for none warranty repairs first time was for a broken step After a short evaluation, it was determined best course would be to replace the electric step due to it being bent and the particular motor that burnt out I took my RV home that day to continue on a trip that I had planned upon my return. I had a message that my step had come in from the manufacturer if I could bring it out to them, they would install it within the hour The second time was for my big slide out on my class a that was out of square with a broken roller on One side and broken sensor at the bottom Again, they were able to get me in and out within 24 hours being that they had all the new parts in stock to do the repair A shout out to Joe Maritza and Jolene all three of them were great to deal with Big thank you to all of you

Took my 2020 Thor Tuscany 45 MX for various repairs under warranty and other issues due to my mishaps. Maritza was my lead person and kept me informed, her father Joe, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on making my RV whole again, only issue, was Thor Manufacturing getting parts sent in a timely manner. My last visit was a 24 hour turnaround job. I was extremely happy. Thank you, Jeff Hart
